Die Betaversion des Sourcebooks hatte mich positiv überrascht, sehr ausführlich. Ich würde heute und in den kommenden Tagen die Modelle der einzelnen Fraktionen vorstellen. Den Anfang machen GCPS und Forgefather. Die Modelle sind teils bereits erhältlich oder werden in den kommenden Monaten releast.

Insgesamt gibt es 6 Fraktionen, diese bestehen allerdings aus deutlich mehr Rassen/Völkern. Ein kurzer Überblick was es so gibt

- Corporation
- Enforcer
- Forgefather (Squats)
- The Plague (Mutanten)
- Asterians (Droidentruppen und Drohnen)
- Veermyn (Ratten)
- Marauder (Orks)
- Rebells (ein Verbund aus Menschen- und Alienfraktionen)



Corporation kurz GCPS

Die Soldaten der Konzerne, gut organisiert und ausgerüstet. Die Frontschweine. Sie verfügen über Transport-Flieger und -Jeeps. Anders als die Enforcer sind sie eher schwach gepanzert, setzen Waffenteams ein und operieren teils in Regimentsgröße.

Von allen Einheiten gibt es Varianten, mit anderer Bewaffnung und Einsatzmöglichkeit. Zusätzlich erscheinen noch Charaktermodelle aus Zinn und Restic.




Forgefather

Sie gehören zu den technisch am weitesten entwickelten Völkern im Warpath-Universum. Waffen und Panzerungen sind auch im Spiel entsprechend effizient. Stämmige, kleine Statur. Dwarves in Space 🙂

Vom Mantic Facebook FAQ

- Enforcers to get command squad miniatures, Sergeant Howlett to get his own squad.
- Medics for other races are possible
- New races like the Nameless will be introduced to Star Saga/ Deadzone first then expanded to WP later by adding HIPs troops
- Brokkr bomb bots possible in Firefight but not Warpath
- FF alternate weapons for weapon platforms are planned
- highest priority for HIPS infantry are Asterian Cyphers and Plague 2nd gens
- Rebs are a matter of getting the miniature range right first
- Marauders need work on both the background and miniatures before they get their own army list
- Asterian pulse bombard will get released probably as part of a set of weapons platforms
- Asterian army deal released in May
- No FF flyers, no Enforcer ground vehicles
- There won't be armybooks for individual armies new lists will be part of larger sourcebooks which may include expansions/campaigns
- All units that are in the rule book should have minis released by summer 2018

die ersten Armee Boxen gehen in die Vorbestellung
einmal als Bundle mit Spielmaterial (Regelbücher, Marker usw) und einmal nur die Modelle

Je nach Ausrüstung bewegen sich alle Boxen um die 1200 Punkte, womit man eine Streitmacht in der Standardgröße von FireFight hat.

Bin schon seit geraumer Zeit am Überlegen, ob ich mir da nicht mal ne Squat-Substitute-Armee zulegen soll, aber dann muss GW immer selbst so viel Zeug releasen 🙁 Exrem cool, vor allem der Panzer!
