Erstlingswerk für "Flames of War"

Hallo,

wollte mal eure Meinung zu meiner ersten "Flames of War"-Mini hören, ein "SdKfz 234/2 mit 5cm-KwK", auch "Puma" genannt.

Soll kein Vitrinen- oder Wettbewerbsmodell sein, sondern ist für die Platte gedacht. Ohne Hoheitssymbole oder
sonstige Markierungen, hatten die Aufklärer in der Truppe, die ich mir als Vorbild genommen habe, nach Augenzeugenberichten nicht.

"Redbrown tiger stripes on sandcoloured base" is how Pallud describes the pattern of one 234/2 in La Gleize (in a Osprey book on Skorzeny and KG Peiper).
Seemingly, he has consulted a photograph as a source and the location is near Panther 002 (which itself was lost close to the Maison Communale).At least in Normandy,
it seems that Pumas belonged to a 2. Zug of the Stabskompanie, it could be that no turret numbers were displayed however or that they had been painted out
because the 234/2 with the unit at this time were likely to be Normandy survivors. In consistency with an order that must have been issued prior to the offensive,
the SS runes would have been painted out on the licence plate.

Hier steht das SdKfz234/2 in praller Sonne, wodurch die Farben und Akzente etwas verstärkt werden. Das Rad vorne ist am Modell
komplett zusehen, ist wohl ein ungünstiger Aufnahmewinkel gewesen...

Ich schließe mich da an, die Karre sieht gut aus Wenn du so ne komplette Armee hinbekommst, macht das auf der Spielplatte auf jeden Fall gut was her - und sieht bestimmt dann auch in der Vitrine gut aus 😉
