Rumoured to be part Human and part Demon, the fimir haunt bogs, fens and desolate moors throughout the northern and western Old World. They are most common is coastal areas but can be found anywhere that is suitably dank and dismal. Their stronghold take form of forbidding, craggy piles of rock, crudely build to resemble human castles. All fimir settlements are wreathed in thick miasma, which is magically generated to protect them from sunlight. Indeed, when forced to travel outside their homes they surround themselves with enchanted mist, which moves with them.

Fimir communities are usually isolated and self-sufficient, but some legends tell of a Fimir capital, a vast castle of obsidian rising from a craggy island, surrounded by treacherous rocks and reefs. The location of this island is not know but some accounts claim that is periodically vanishes or sinks beneath the sea, to appear elsewhere along the westerns seaboard of Old World.

Fimir communities consist almost entirely of males, and are divided into four castes. The lowest caste is that of Shearls or thralls - a caste of servitors and menials. Next is the caste of Fimm or warriors to which the bulk of Fimir nobility belongs and which the race takes it's name. Then there are Dirach or demonfiends , a small but powerful caste of magicians. Most feared of all are the Mearghs or witch-queens that rule over Fimir strongholds.

Fimir frequently mount raids on isolated human farms and villages in search of food and captives. The Meargh are sterile and so Fimirs abduct human women, though their offspring are always fullblooded fimir rather than crossbreeds. The caste of young Fimir is evident from birth and females are very rare, being born perhaps once or twice a century in any stronghold. When a female is born, it is usually killed unless Meargh decides to raise her as a 'daughter' and successor.

Fimir raiding parties generally consists of a dozen or so Fimm warriors and twice as many Shearls, under the command of a young noble. Occasionally there may also be one Dirach in a raiding party, whom the leader will usually defer. Larger units are know in time of war and a Meargh will take the field with her entire people in defense of a stronghold, along with as many demons as she and Dirachs can summon.

Favourite weapons are great heavy maces and axes, which human would need both hands to wield. Fimirs do not generally use missile weapons due to their disabilities with range. Only expection are Shearls who are a bit more nimble than Fimms and can use simple throwing weapons with some measure of success.

Fimirs are not very intelligent creatures and invariably use force rather than wit to solve problems. The Dirach however are at least as intelligent as humans and no one can quess what kind of intellicenge rarely seen Mearghs posses.

Fimirs worship a god called Balor, which is one the lesser manifestations born during the incursion of chaos. As a result, Fimirs are almost unrivalled in demonic magic.

Physique: Fimir are roughly humanoid shaped, with great barrel-chests, powerful legs ending in three toed clawed feet and long sinewy arms that reach almost to ground. Their bodies are broad and strong, with powerful muscles hidden under layer of surface fat which gives them deceptively soft appearance. Their heads are large and hairless, with a flabby, potatoe like surface and taper slightly to a noseless tusked snout. There is a single pupiless, amber or milk white eye set down low down in their head, and in place of ears their skulls have two honeycombed areas beneath their skins which act as a soundingboards. Fimir have broad, hunched shoulders and average about 6 feet in height, although they can rear up to height of about 8 feet. They have powerful, snake-like tails which are several feet in lenght. Their hides are smooth and leathery and colour varies from buff to light green.

                                                                            FIMIR ORIGINS

Origins of the Fimir are shrouded in mystery. High elf historian Cebron has devised a following theory after many years of research. It should be noted that Cebron was ousted from the the university of Lothern after presenting his theory.

Fimirs were one of last races created by the Old ones. They already had Saurus, Kroxigor and Skink and tried to create a race of beings which would combine all of their abilities into a single master race. Unfortunately, they had two flaws. They were unsuited for Lustrias climate and they were too independent.Cebron points out that original Fimirs resembled Kroxigors in ther appearance. Old ones decided to abandon their project and exterminate those Fimirs which were already created. Before they had done this, their polar gateway collapsed and Old ones were forced to abandon the planet. It is uncertain how few remaining Fimirs crossed the ocean into the Old World, for there have been no Fimirs sighted in Lustria. Most likely they used same device what Slann use to move themselves across the world. It is likely that as Incursion of chaos moved towards south, newly formed Gods were looking for servants. One of the many minor gods was Balor who discovered Fimirs.

At this time they were a group of desperate beings and were ready follow anyone who offered them salvation. Cebron notes that most likely Balor transformed all Fimirs into his own image, as a mark of his mastery and a way to protect Fimirs from mutation so commonly associated with chaos servants. It is true that members of the warrior caste rarely develop mutations. After this it is unknown how Fimirs developed to their current state, how they spread around the Old World or did all of them choose to follow Balor. It is clear however that soon Balor had corrupted majority of this noble race and they degenerated into bloodthirsty monsters that are today.

Some fimirs clearly abandonded Balor as existence of so called 'Grey Fimirs' show. They appeared near Dwarf hold Zhufbar at Imperial Year 2515 after orc Warlord Azhag the Slaughterer was defeated at Osterwald. As Waagh! dispersed, part of it headed towards Zhufbar and sieged it. Siege was broken late 2515 as Fimir troops attacked orc rear and routed them. These Fimirs who were grey colored lived near black water and had traded with Zhufbar since 2514. Dwarf merchants note that these Fimirs did not conceal themselves in mist, nor did their customs suggest anything that would mark them out as Balor worshippers, there was also a number of non-sterile female fimirs! This small community is still somewhere near Black water, it's location kept secret by the dwarfs.[/b]

http://www.aginsinn.com/monsters/fimir.html

Was sind eigentlich Boglars? *soganznebenbeifrag*

<div class='quotetop'>ZITAT</div>

  • Lord Choices
  • Ogre Tyrant = Fimir Warlord
  • Slaughtermaster = Meargh Wizard

    Heroes
  • Bruiser = Noble
  • Butcher = Dirach Wizard
  • Hunter = ???

    Core
  • Gnoblars = Boglars
  • Ogre Bulls = Fimm Warrior
  • Iron Guts = Fianna Fimm

    Special
  • Leadbelchers = Keine Verwendung für
  • Scraplauncha = Ebenfalls keine Verwendung, oder evtl. doch?
  • Yhetees = Chaos Trolle?

    Rare
  • Gorger = kA, irgendwas böses bestimmt :teufel:
  • Maneater = Fällt weg
  • Slavegiant = Sumpfriese? 😀
