Hi,

Halloween is here and it`s time for another Newsletter from us at Forge World. In this one we`ve decided to scare (or at least disgust) the pants off you with the much-anticipated release of The Great Unclean One. Also as promised more for the Death Korps (who are quite scary), some cool new etched brass numbers (which aren`t very scary at all), as well as a few other useful facts and features. So if you’re sitting comfortably we`ll begin.

Alan Bligh,
Forge World.

Papa Nurgle`s Favoured Son

Ever since the work-in-progress model for the Great Unclean One was shown at this year`s Games Day UK it`s caused quite a stir and now it`s here in the feculent suppurating flesh! The perfect centrepiece for a Nurgle army for either Warhammer Fantasy or for Warhammer 40K, this greater daemon of the plague god in all its vile glory will also make for a fantastically disturbing addition to any display cabinet, as well as being a real excuse to let your dark side run riot when painting the beast. What`s more he`s a monstrously big, 11cm high and about the same wide, and comes with the options of horns or twisted antlers.
This masterpiece of disease and decay was sculpted by Daniel Cockersell and is available to pre-order now for release commencing the 27th November.

Volley Fire!

Yet more Death Korps for you in this newsletter with the Death Korps of Krieg Infantry Squad Firing. This not only gives you even more variety for your Death Korps infantry squads but introduces a new special weapon option for them in the shape of a wonderfully `retro` looking grenade launcher. Again I`m still impressed just by the sheer level of detail we are getting on these Krieg models and how amazingly full of character they are. This squad is available for pre-order now for release commencing the 27th November
While on the subject of Krieg, you can look forward to even more releases in the run-up to Christmas and beyond, with the first of our Centaur variants and the keenly awaited Death Korps Grenadiers due to be the next out of the gates.

Got Your Number

In our latest attempt to help those of us (like myself) who have some slight ‘shaky hand syndrome’ when it comes to putting fine lettering onto miniatures, our new etched brass releases feature handy sets of numbers in two sizes, one scaled for vehicles and the other for use on infantry models. The numbers come in three styles on each sheet; plain numerals, Roman numerals and a calligraphy numeral style of the kind used by many Space Marine Chapters. Although intend primarily for use with Imperial Guard and Space Marine models of all types, there`s no reason these can’t be used for a host of other purposes such as numbering on Blood Bowl players, numbering bases for almost any game and for making scenery like road signs, corridor markings etc.
These new Etched Brass Number Sheets are available for pre-order now for release commencing the 27th November.

The Eldar Reborn:

For those of you into your 40K (and I`m guessing that will be most people reading this), you cannot of helped but notice that the new Eldar Codex is about to come out as well as there being an exciting expansion of the Eldar range by Games Workshop. We thought that with all of this going on it would be a good time to draw your attention to all the excellent models we ourselves do for this range. Quite apart from our highly popular new Avatar model, and our recent Falcon II conversion kit, we do a breadth of other things the budding Farseer or Autarch might covet. From a variety of vehicle conversion and upgrade kits, tank variants such as the Night Spinner and Firestorm, as well as deadly flyers such as the Nightwing and the Phoenix, and the powerful troop carrying Vampire. Or if you fancy something to really stamp your will on the battlefield we have the very deadly super heavy Scorpion and Cobra grav tanks and of course the splendid Revenant titan.
You can find full rules for all these models (which are right up to date with the new Eldar Codex) in Imperial Armour Update 2006.

Nette Neuigkeiten.

Ja? mit welchem Körperteil? wink.gif[/b]

Na mit seinem Tentakel-Schleimer-DP - sonst wärs ja schwach 😉
