Well, this newsletter we have some fantastic new releases to show you, not least of all the much-anticipated new Death Korps Grenadiers and Death Korps Grenadiers Heavy Flamer Team, as well as the Chaos Renegade Militia Icons & Assault Weapons pack, and news of a few re-releases that I’m sure will prove popular. So, as you can see as winter draws on, here at Forge World we`re doing our best to bring you even more exciting stuff to goad your loved ones into getting you for the holidays, or simply to treat yourself with!

Steel and Fire
They caused quite a stir when previewed at Games Day UK, and now that the finished article is ready for release, I think you’ll agree its been worth the wait; the Death Korps of Krieg Grenadiers are here in all their grim glory.
We have two initial releases for the Grenadiers, the Death Korps of Krieg Grenadier Squad which comprises ten carapace armoured Grenadiers; seven with hellguns, one with a flamer, one with a grenade launcher, and a sergeant with chainsword and hellpistol.
Our second release is the two-man Death Korps of Krieg Grenadier Heavy Flamer Team, which is intended to be used as an additional upgrade for the Death Korps Grenadier Squad.
Fulfilling the roll of the Progenium Storm Troopers found in many Imperial Guard formations, the Death Korps Absolution regiments use their Grenadiers as heavy infantry soldiers to spearhead attack waves, storm fortified positions and smash through enemy defence lines. Full rules and unique options for Death Korps Grenadiers will be forthcoming as the range expands.
Personally, I can`t heap enough praise on these models to be honest, -they`re just so damn good: Not only do they exhibit the extraordinary quality of detail you`ve come to expect from the Death Korps, but these grim killers capture the dark and merciless nature of the Krieg wonderfully. They’re a perfect expansion to the Death Korps and I`m quite sure that they will become a truly iconic part of the range. In fact, I can see them gracing many a gaming table and collection in the future, and not just as part of a Death Korps army, but used as Storm Troopers for Inquisition forces, in Armoured Fist squads, Guard armies using the heavy armour doctrine and many others, they’re just that good!

Signs of Chaos
As a counterpoint to our ever-expanding Krieg range, we also have the release of our Chaos Renegade Militia Icons & Assault Weapons pack. This pack contains a variety of shotguns, pistols, combat blades and grenades (including a petrol -or should that be promethium bomb!) as well as several suitably horrific chaos icons and standards. Although obviously intended for use with our own Renegade Militia, this pack will equally be of interest for anybody with chaos cultists, Traitor Guard and Lost & Damned armies, not to mention Inquisitorial retinues and Necromunda gangs for the weapons. As for myself I`m planning to have some of the icons adorning my Iron Warriors vehicles!

Return To Weathertop
By popular demand we`ve managed to get hold of a few of our famous `Lord of the Rings` terrain model `The Ruined Watchtower of Amon Sul on Weathertop Hill`. As most of you will no doubt know `Weathertop` is the sight of one of the most crucial encounters in `The Fellowship of the Ring` where Frodo, Strider and the Hobbits are attacked by the terrible Ringwraiths. This fantastic model measures over 400mm across and is faithfully detailed as it was sculpted using many photos and plans supplied by New Line Cinema. This lovely piece of terrain will only be available while stocks last.

Graceful and Deadly
The grav-tanks of the Eldar are justly feared by their enemies and unlike the clumsy war machines of other races, the Wave Serpents, Fire Prisms and Falcons of the Eldar are as graceful as they are dangerous, and have the option of a wide variety of weapons and upgrades. With the ongoing upsurge of interest in the re-vitalised Eldar range we thought it would be a good time to re-release of our Wave Serpent Weapons Turrets and the Eldar Vehicle Upgrade Pack. As well as providing you with the option of alternately configured weapons turrets for your Wave Serpents to take advantage of the different Eldar heavy weapon types, they are constructed in a different style to the turret found in the plastic kit and can afford you greater variety in your force. The Eldar vehicle upgrade pack allows you to represent all the vehicle upgrades in the Eldar Codex on your skimmers. We`ve also left the component that represented the old crystal targeting matrix in the pack, although this upgrade is no longer in the codex, you can still use this `Eldar bling` to personalise and convert your grav-tanks.
