The WaveMaster, Tsukasa, finds himself in a precarious situation. He wakes up, in a cavern with little memory of what has happened to him. He knows he's part of The World, a massively popular mass-multiplayer online RPG (MMORPG), and he knows that he's been playing for quite some time... but... what just happened to him? He can't seem to place it, but something is horribly wrong.
He cannot log out.
What does this mean, exactly? Well, just what it sounds like - what was originally a game for Tsukasa has now been turned upside down on him. He now feel and smell the things around him in the game. He can feel pain for things inflicted upon him in the game.
Tsukasa is soon granted power to rise above the system of The World. He has a guardian that can even cause harm to the player's body outside of the game, and he has the ability to go from server to server without the use of the Chaos Gates. He is kept with the sleeping form of a girl in white, hoping to see the day that she breaks her eternal slumber and opens her eyes...
The race begins, to not only find out what has happened to Tsukasa, but to free him of his electronic prison, how has he gained these newfound powers, and to find out what has happened to him... is he the first? Is the rumored Key of the Twilight the secret to his predicament? [/b]
