War Rocket
War Rocket is a fast-paced miniature space combat game set in the retro sci-fi future of the 24th century.
The brave Galacteers fight to protect mankind from sinister alien forces.
Will you command a fleet of Galecteer rockets or choose the forces of the domineering Valkeeri, the brutal Imperium of Marduk, or the enigmatic Zenithians?
You can play a game of War Rocket with fleets of 10-20 ships in less than 90 minutes with minimal use of tokens and absolutely no paper record keeping!
The 78-page War Rocket rulebook also includes 8 scenarios with specific objectives to encourage tactical decision making and narrative campaigns.

The rules also include advanced rules include special actions such as boarding and ramming, space stations, and space objects such as planetoids and asteroid fields. Rocket customization rules allow you to upgrade your rockets with options such as force fields, lucky pilots, and disruptor beams. You can also use these rules to create your own new fleets.

Gen Con Preview 2

In our first Gen Con preview, we showed you some of the latest Retro Raygun 30mm figures available from Hydra Miniatures (booth #405 at Gen Con Indy). However, our War Rocket fans will be excited to know that a new fleet is on the way—Space Pirates! Although the full Space Pirate fleet is still in development, we will be selling packs of the Space Pirate Class 1 ($10.95 for 3 models). Sculpted by David Leppink (Sublimate), these sleek dart-like rockets are armed with unique weaponry on their wing pods.

We are also excited to show you the bronze master model of the Pirate Class 2, but we missed the deadline to get castings for Gen Con. As you can see from the photo below, the Space Pirate rockets have that classic 1950s look. Once the entire fleet of 4 ships is complete, the rules for the Space Pirates will be available from the Hydra Miniatures downloads section as a free PDF.

Gen Con Preview 1

The Hydra Miniatures staff has been hard at work preparing for Gen Con Indy (August 4-7). We have a bunch of new releases for our Retro Raygun 30mm pulp sci-fi range. The Robot Legion will receive much needed leadership in the form of Centurions. These impressive robots are distinguished by their flowing capes and large crests on their metallic heads. There are two variant poses: marching and standing. In addition, we are releasing the Slishian spawnlings. Each pack contains 6 smaller Slishian babies that measure between 10mm-15mm. The samples in the photo are mounted on a 1.5” (40mm) fender washer.
These preview miniatures are available in limited quantities since they are spun from our master molds. Therefore, they will not be available for sale on our website for another month or so. You can purchase them at the Hydra Miniatures booth #405.

Rogue Trader hatte davon noch einige Elemente. Finde es schade, dass die alle aus 40k rausgefallen sind.

Gen Con Preview 3

Hydra Miniatures is extremely excited to present our third and final Gen Con Indy preview featuring our latest 30mm range: The Valkeeri. The name of these buxom but deadly space amazons will be familiar to War Rocket fans. These curvy women were masterfully sculpted by veteran sculptor John Winter of Tin Man Miniatures. John did an amazing job of capturing the natural beauty of the women of the ’40s and the ’50s, and has sculpted a total of six Valkeeri miniatures for our initial offering.​

Our two leaders are supplied with separate capes, so you can attach them or not. Our four troopers will be available as single miniatures or as a unit with one of the two Valkeeri leader variants. Prices are listed below:
