Expanding the metal range that will be available for Starship Troopers, Mr Bob Naismith has been hard at work on the enemies of the Mobile Infantry.

First up are the Firefries, a new Arachnid species that can be fielded in large numbers and yet is frighteningly fast with their huge leap, as they bound across the battlefield. Unlike Warrior and Hopper Bugs, they do not have to get within point blank range of the MI either - they possess a devastating fire attack that can burn even through a powersuit. The Firefries box set will be available in May, as the third round of releases for Starship Troopers (after the main box set, MI Squad and Warrior Bugs, and then the two MI Marauders and Hopper Bugs).

Next are the Skinnies, and we know plenty of people have been wondering how they will end up looking. Available as through Mongoose Mail Order on this very web site in Mid-April, we will be releasing two blisters of Skinnies so you can use the army list included in the main rulebook and begin exploring 'what else is out there' in the Starship Troopers universe. The Skinnies are armed with the nasty Constrictor Rifle and the very powerful Nerve Beam and come in two flavours - the cheap Militia and the power suited Raiders.

die skinnis kommen ja serh nah an die animmierte srie ran, nur an den waffen müßen die noch was ändern. aber die sehen ja ohnehin noch nicht fertig aus.

zum auffrischen noch ein recht neues bild der 2 "kampfläufer"

Also die mobile Infanterie gefiel mir schon seitdem die ersten Bilder veröfentlicht wurden, aber die neuen Minis hier sagen mir noch nicht so Recht zu, da warte ich eine eingehendere Betrachtung mit persönlicher Beteiligung der Läufer und Skinnies ab.

jo also die mobile infanterie fand ich damals auch ziemlich cool, aber die minis jetzt... die sehen irgendwie alle blöd aus. gilt auch für die kampfläufer.
