http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/922026722/dark-skies-in-the-land-of-the-empires
Es sind sehr günstige Versandkosten für Europa angegeben. Sind sehr große Flieger (bis 25cm) dabei!
[h=1]What is Dark Skies?[/h]
The miniatures are 1:72 (24mm) aircraft with ww1/ww2 aesthetics with a touch of fantasy, from light fighters to huge flying carriers. There are 6 factions: The Kingdom of England, the Germanic Empire, The Kingdom of Iberia, the Russian Empire, the Gallic Duchy and the Foreign Legion (Mercenaries).
The miniatures will be made in resin, to keep the models highly detailed and light. All models will require assembly and are supplied un-painted, also every model will include a base and a telescopic stand.
Dark Skies' games can go from a small skirmish to gigantic battles with dozens of aircraft in each side, hunting down enemies in intense dogfights and bombing vital targets.
River Horse's Game Designer/Editor Andy Chambers (extensive works on Warhammer 40.000, Starship Troopers, Dust Tactics, Necromunda, etc.) will do a Final Edit on the Dark Skies rule set.
Dark Skies is a fast paced wargame. Both players try to accomplish their missions while vanquish the opponent’s aircraft in a battlefield full of perils. In every turn, both players move their aircrafts through the game-board, perform manoeuvres and attack the enemy.
[h=1]Factions and aircrafts[/h]Germanic Empire.
Kingdom of England.
Russian Empire.

[h=1]Factions and aircrafts[/h]Germanic Empire.
- A solid fighter with a radial engine oriented to the back of the aircraft the Foker D1 is the basic fighter for de Germanic Empire’s air force.
- This is a very unique type of approach to the air combat, almost exclusive to the Germanic air force. The Flying Bomb is just a huge Rocket charged with an enormous quantity of explosives, designed to fly long distances to its target.
- The great Albatros is a Heavy Fighter from the Germanic Empire. Armed with a 5’’ Autocannon the Albatros can tear down any enemy foe in its sight! We will bring new miniatures almost daily. Expect more concepts soon!
- The Foker V Stuka is the main bomber in the Germanic Empire’s air force. Focused on air-ground combat, the Stuka is perfect for taking down ground based objectives.
Kingdom of England.
- The smallest aircraft in Dark Skies, a light fighter for the Kingdom of England faction. The Vikers Warfly is a tiny fighter, considered the most agile aircraft ever created for warlike purposes.
- Vikers Speedfire: Is a very reliable double engine aircraft, its Nickname “Speedfire” comes from its 3 Heavy Machineguns.
- The Vikers Volcano is the main bomber in the Kingdom of England’s air force is a menace to the air and the ground enemy forces.
Russian Empire.
- Archaic but precise, the Mikoyan Sukoil MS 3 is the basic aircraft from the Russian's air force and by far the most abundant plane in Dark Skies.
- The MS 7 is a heavy version of the MS 3. Despite it has a bomber capacity, is a fighter as well.
