Become a Seeker, an expert adventurer, sent out by the Organization to hunt for artifacts, Qoam, relics and remnants from ancient times. You will lead a convoy to the barren and cold lands surrounding the City bringing back as much as you can. Once outside in the dark regions, beware of the dangers that lurk in the wilderness. An infestation has been spreading from an ancient being that roams these lands and must be stopped to ensure the success of your mission.

Icaion is an Engine Territory Building and Resource Management eurogame for 2 to 5 players and it further expands the Mysthea Universe telling the story of the society that lives beneath the sea of clouds. Designed by Martino Chiacchiera and Marta Ciaccasassi and wonderfully illustrated by Travis Anderson, it's the second chapter of the trilogy that ends with Mysthea: the Fall, the standalone game that can be assembled just with the components of Mysthea and Icaion.

Die Komponenten des Spiels gefallen mir bis auf das Spielbrett, seht etwas langweilig aus, sehr gut. Interessant die Idee das man dies mit Mysthea einem ihrer anderen Spiele verbinden kann, es gibt auch eine Pledge dafür. Auch kann man die Drachen Minis für Volfyrion per Pledge bekommen und das Kartenspiel später per Pledge Manager. Soweit ich weiß spielen diese 3 Spiele im selben Universum.

Ich habe beim Kickstarter des Kartenspiels "Volfyrion" der Firma mitgemacht. Der Grund waren hauptsächlich die Illustrationen der Karten, sehr schick.

Tabula hat außerdem eine sehr gute Kommunikation mit den Backern, reagieren gut auf Kritik, hat mit Hilfe der Backer auch Übersetzungen der Anleitung gemacht und hat sogar besonders aktive Backer als Artworks auf den Karten ins Spiel integriert (auf Basis von eingesandten Bildern). An der Stelle können sich viele Firmen noch eine Scheibe in Sachen Kommunikation abschneiden.
