Hello,
I would like to invite you to participate In Wojna Światów – Master class Tournament in Poznań. It will take place on the 27-28 of March. Traditionally the first weekend of spring.
The Tournament is a part of a major event – Fantasy Event (fantasy, sci-fi, larp, manga, comics, books, etc). Both, Wojna Światów as a 40k tournament and Pyrkon as fantasy event, are highly valued in Poland and both awarded for the best events in particular categories.
But first the rules set:
Address: Primary School, Str. Łozowa 77, 61-448 Poznań (this is where you sign in and pay for the entry, with this pass you can enter our tournament and fantasy event).
Start: 10:00 am, signing in from 9:00 am
Participation costs: 25 PLN (currently the exchange rate is 1 Euro- 4,1 PLN, oh, I think that the credit cards will not be accepteted)
Tournament Type: double, 2 x 1200
Sign-in deadline and roosters: 21 of march 2010, 23:59. If you send a correct roosters of your team, you will get 3 extra big points. Please check our www for the e-mail address.
Rules: WH40k 5th Edition, GW FAQs, Polish Rules Clarification and URP.
In any other cases that may occur the referees shall have decisive voice.

In case both players from a team have armies from the same Codex, you cant have 2 same HQ choices, 3 Elites, Fast Attack and Heavy support choices. There are no restrictions towards the Troops selection.
Important! The armies may not interact in any way. IC can not join your partner’s units, you can not cast any psychic powers on your team mate’s units, cant use his teleport beacons or icons. Additionally, Psychic Hoods, Runes and Runic Staff can be used or its rules apply, when your own army is targeted with an enemy’s psychic power. But still you can try to negate such psychic powers, neutral, like Fortune, Guide, Null Zone, Gate of Infinity, etc.

Imperial Armor: not allowed
Special Characters: not allowed
Tables: 72 x 48
Mission’s special rules: Deep Strike, Reserves and Infiltration apply in all missions

Painting: The painting will be checked during the tournament. Soon we will translate the criteria.
Each army should have all models at least painted with 3 different colors. Models, which do not follow this requirements will be removed from the rooster, and if the number of models drops to a level, when the unit is halved, or can not be used, the opponents will receive its points value.
The orgas reserve them selves the right to check the army at any point during the event.
Each army will be checked separately, and the points added.
More details in this matter is still to come.
Test of knowledge: the players will fill in a test. You can get some extra points for it.
Secondary objective: in each mission you will have a secondary objective. If you full fill it, you will get extra 400 VP.
Penalties: for every 3 minutes of delay with delivering the final results of the game, the teams involved receive -2 pts.
If one or both team members behave improperly (cursing, offending other players or referees, etc) can be warned with a yellow card. The second yellow card means red card. In extreme cases the referees can show the red card right away.
Test of knowledge: during the tournament the test of knowledge will be carried out.
Secondary objectives: In each games players will have a chance to gain extra 400 VP by fulfilling a secondary objective.
Missions:
1. Take & Hold
Deployment: in “L” shape. 36’ along the shorter edge (vertically), and 24’ along the longer edge (horizontally).
Primary Objective: for every scoring unit totally within 12’ from the center of the table, the players receive 480 VP.
Victory conditions: VP for destroyed and/or halved enemy units, and for scoring units within 12’ from the center of the table.
Secondary Objective: If one team brings down the number of the enemy models below the 75 per cent of their initial number, the team receives extra 400 VP.
Game length: 6 turns.
2. Domination
Deployment: Dawn of War
Primary Objective: divide the table into 6 equal squares 24’x 24’. For each sector controlled by the scoring unit at the end of the game the team receives 400 VP.
Victory conditions: VP for destroyed and/or halved enemy units, and for controlled sectors.
Secondary Objective: The team that has more Kill Points after the game is finished gains extra 400 VP
Game length: 6 turns.
3. Cleanse I
Deployment: Spearhead, 12’ from the center of the table and 24’ from the opponent.
Primary Objective: in the middle of each quarter place a marker. The quarters can be controlled by the scoring units or contested within 6’ of the marker. For controlling your own marker 200 VP, the opponents 1000 VP, 2 neutral markers 600 VP each
Victory conditions: VP for destroyed and/or halved enemy units, and for controlled quarters.
Secondary Objective: The team chooses one of the opponents HQ in secret, writes it down, and shows it the opponents after the game is finished. If you fail to destroy it, your opponents receives 400 VP
Game length: 6 turns, 7th on the roll of 4+.
4. Seek & Destroy
Deployment: Cleanse II, 18’ from the edges.
Primary Objective: eliminate your opponent. All VP for destroyed/halved enemy units are doubled.
Victory conditions: VP for destroyed and/or halved enemy units are doubled.
Secondary Objective: Place a marker in the middle of the table. The team that controls it within 3’ from it with a scoring unit, receives 400 VP
Game length: 6 turns.
5. Capture & Control
Deployment: Cleanse II, 18’ from the corner of the edges (upper and lower).
Primary Objective: 5 markers, controlled after the games is finished by a scoring unit within 3’. Each worth 480 VP.
Victory conditions: VP for destroyed and/or halved enemy units and controlled markers.
Secondary Objective: A team that destroys more Kill Points than the oponents, receives 400 VP
Game length: 6 turns, 7th on the roll of 4+.
