Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
Yet another game that was lauded for its high-quality PvP, yet another game shutdown. While many may argue that this game had its claim to fame and is better off dead, I beg to differ. The Warhammer universe is rich and deep with tons of characters and years of established world building. It was fitting that the series had its very own MMORPG.

As if by some twist of poetic fate, the game’s closure was announced on the day of its fifth anniversary. Players were notified that, in just a few short months, the world they called home would be no more. This was due in large part to an expiration of the license agreement with the IP holders, which unfortunately is the reason for a lot of events like this. The spirit of WAR lives on to this day though, as the original creators are spearheading the Return of Reckoning project in an attempt to emulate the original game. It won’t be the same though and it’s too bad WAR didn’t have a big longer.

Dort wurde danach gefragt damit man auch andere Systeme supporten kann

Für eine Alpha läuft es einigermaßen gut, nicht mehr und nicht weniger.

Anmelden: Problemlos Acc erstellbar.
Kosten: Keine.
Population: schwach gemessen an "normalen" MMOs.

Ist halt letzten Endes eine "beta" von Fans für Fans, auf dem gerippe eines toten MMO. Davon ab haben sie wenns hoch kommt erst 30% des Spiels umgesetzt. Startgebiete, Levelcap war zuletzt 12. Da es nichts kostet eifnahc mal selber reinsehen wenn man Sehnsucht hat oder nie WAR spielte.

Du brauchst die letzte fertigt gepatchte Version von Reckoning. Also CD Installation eben schnell auf v1, kannste vergessen.

Nach meiner Server-Odyssee von Middenland nach Erengrad über den Drakenwald gibt es hoffentlich eine Lösung, die nicht gleich wieder wie üblich von der "GW'schen Rechtsabteilung" gefressen wird.

T4 ist da und auch stabil jetzet nachdem neue Hardware beschafft wurde.

Wenn einer eine Zwergenguilde sucht die ins RvR in Formation geht, sucht mal nach den 3rd Bitterstone Thunderers.
Wir sind zwar eine englisch sprachige gilde, aber wir haben das Regiment voll mit deutschen Zwergen.

Die wissen wie man in Reihe und Glied marschiert und Orkze wegballert. 😉

Nice, kann nun Jemand der das Spiel aktuell noch oder wieder spielt mal mehr zum Fortschritt des Spiels sagen ? Spielumfang, Stapilität der Server, Bugs, Spieleranzahl usw.

Edit: Ich habe mich jetzt auf der Homepage von dem Spiel registriert aber bekomme keine Freischalt Email, habe auch schon mit einer anderen Emailadresse mich dort registriert aber auch da bekomme ich keine Email zum freischalten, ist das Spiel inzwischen wieder Down oder dauert das länger ? Auf der Seite steht zumindest nichts davon das ein Admin mich freischalten oder mir die Email senden muss.
