>We learn that Yriel doesn’t like the Ynnari. Yep, despite being brought back by Yvraine he dislikes her and Ynnead and refuses to meet with them or accompany them, not liking the state he’s been brought back in.

>More Avatar of Khaine dying. We have one somehow get fused with a Genestealer Patriarch, I don’t know how, and we have another WIELDING ANARIS SWORD MADE AND USED TO KILL FULL C’TAN just get kinda casually offed by Yvraine possessed by the Yncarne. Honestly does GW hate Khaine?
Its very bad for the Ynnari actually. >They lose hundreds of their number and all they gain from it is the most bizare thing; a ruby which lets Melineal turn into an Avatar. Wat? That’s the pay-off.
>The Visarch brings up the matter of Yvraine just pretty much being a human attack dog. The Scion of Ulthanesh does the same. It is a reocurring point made that she pretty much just follows Roboute’s orders and all Ynnead’s power has really been used for so far is making the Imperium stronger. This is never resolved. Yvraine realizes it is true but nothing ever comes of or is developed from this.
