Wargames Foundry haben ihre Preispolitk für Bestellungen von Kunden außerhalb des UK geändert. Ab sofort wird hier maximal der gleiche Preis für den Versand veranschlagt wie im Inland. Außerdem nimmt Foundry einige alte Reihen wieder ins Sortiment auf.
An important announcement regarding Foreign Exchange Rates

While you may not have noticed yet, things are changing at Foundry and we are the middle of a process of restructuring and reorganisation. This will include bringing back some old ranges and reintroducing some old packs that were inexplicably removed from others. This will all take some time but we want to return to being the company we once were. As a symbol of this we have reintroduced the English Civil War and Thirty Years War ranges.

Although some of these things will take some time to put into place, one immediate change we have made is to make sure that those ordering from outside of the UK will pay the same price as everybody else. It was a particularly bad policy that we have rectified as of today, no matter where you live in the world you will not pay more than our domestic customers.

Watch out for further changes in the future.

Auf jeden Fall. Bisher waren die Preise für uns etwa 30% höher als für Leute im Königreich. Bei den regelmäßig 20%-Aktionen kann man somit bis zu 50% gegenüber dem bisherigen Preis sparen.
Die brauchen aber momentan auch gute Publicity, ihre "Bis zu 70% auf Bücher"-Aktion, die vor kurzem lief, ging dank mangelnder Lieferbarkeit ja grandios in die Hose.

Im Lead Adventures Forum gab es eine Erklärung:
Matt the manager has been asked to leave. The new guy in charge is Mr. Ansell's cousin. They have listened to and noted the unhappiness of many of their ex-customers and watched new 'sculptors' create the type of figures that no one would really buy, whilst the better, older stuff has been retired. New moulds are needed for many ranges and things that sell well / look good will be expanded. We may even see the Steampunk rules that exist in a back room.

Wargames Foundry bringt die ersten Neuauflagen klassischer Miniaturen auf den Markt.

Die Wikinger (auch als Sachsen oder unter Umständen Normannen einsetzbar) stammen aus den späten Achzigern und wurden von Alan und Michael Perry für die damals noch kleine Miniaturenschmiede Citadel kreiert. Sie bildeten auch den Grundstock für das erste Sortiment der Norse bei Warhammer Fantasy Battles.
Der Blister mit acht Figuren kostet ca. 15,- €.

Ebenfalls aus dem Zeitraum und ebenfalls ursprünglich von Citadel veröffentlicht sind die Samurai von Aly Morrison, dessen Erstlingswerke für die Miniaturenschmiede. Der Blister mit sechs Miniaturen kostet ebenfalls ca. 15,- €.

Wer auf dystopische Bandenkämpfe steht, der wird mit der Street Violence Reihe bedient, zu der diverse Blister neu erscheinen. Die Blister mit jeweils fünf Miniaturen kosten etwa 12,60 €.

When we first added ranges to this website a few figures in this range managed to slip away and fail to be transferred across. Now we know that quite a few of you want to collect all our 2000AD range, so rather than cause you several hours of upset working out just which ones were missing we thought it would be far more useful if we actually put them up on this website. So we did - and they can be found here. The missing figures are Young Slaine, Judge Hershey, Chopper, Judge Dredd with Daystick, and Judge Dredd 3.

Wargames Foundry bringt ein paar unveröffentlichte Rogue Trader-Miniaturen heraus. Für mich jetzt nicht gerade die interessantesten Modelle, aber immerhin.

Wer das 1. Editions/Rogue Trader-Buch besitzt: der Kollege ganz links ist auf Seite 11 abgebildet, der zweite von rechts auf Seite 189 (Bild oben, der Helm ist als schwarze 8 (Billard) bemalt).
