Oh, and just for the record AFAIK there's no 40k end times. 40k remains as is.

Right guys there are several separate rumours that folks are getting mixed up. So I'll at least split it up a little for you. THIS IS NOT RELEASE ORDER, just to help separate the rumours. One kind of has a main codex, kind of, and it's been mentioned on this very thread. I think there's a misunderstanding here. BOTH new standalone games will have their model contents released. The first being HH, will see models released as part of the 30k range. The 2nd boxed game models will be released as part of 40k range, part that is currently only available in finecast and not deathwatch before anyone says it again.

This is partially true. The "starter set" is in fact a standalone game, however I'll accept starter set as it does lead onto the main 30k game. I think it's safe to assume that 30k could/will have a different game mechanic to 40k, or it would be pretty pointless as a standalone game. Ich denke das erste Modell, das einen kompletten Satz Regeln in der Box enthält, wird der Plastik Thunderhawk sein. 😛

Naja, eher werden Regeln ergänzt. Da das Gerücht von Hastings stammt müssen wir davon ausgehen das diese Box auf jedenfall kommt. Was dann wirklich enthalten sein wird, werden wir aber sehen.

Tatsächlich? Ich bin kein WHF Spieler, von daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen.
Bei 40K stell ich es mir aber schwierig vor, das umzusetzen. Wenn wir als Beispiel mal den Maleceptor der Tyraniden nehmen. Dessen Regeln gibt´s ja gratis zum download, was den "Regeln in der Box" schon recht nahe kommt. Aber Spielbar ist er mit den downloadregeln eben nicht. Dafür brauchts dann doch noch den Codex. Und wenn man mal an sowas wie den Carnifex mit seinen 10 Bazillionen Waffen- und Biomorphoptionen denkt (von IV ganz zu schweigen), dann übersteigt das das Leistungsvermögen einer einzelnen Regelseite (selbst eine Doppelseite wird da kaum ausreichen) in der Box. Und vom Schwarmtyranten mit seinen Psi-Kräften wollen wir lieber gar nicht erst anfangen.
Okay, sie könnten selbstverständlich auch kleine Bücher dazupacken, die alles abdecken. Aber das zieht dann auch wieder einen Rattenschwanz an Problemen nach sich.
Also FALLS GW diese Vielfalt an Optionen beibehalten möchte, sehe ich einfach keinen Weg, das mit "Regeln in der Box" zu schaffen.

Also das mit den Regeln in der Box sehe ich ja eh nur als Ergänzung zu einem bestehenden Codex. Also nur als Beispiel: GW releast einen "Codex Warhammer 30k - Legio Astartes Ultramarines". Der enthält dann die Regeln für die Minis, die beim Erscheinen so da waren (Beispiel: Marines, Terminatoren, Pradator, Rhino). Später kommt dann ein halbes Jahr später z.B. ein Comtemptor. Der hat dann in seiner Box Regeln, die ihn (evtl.) als Eliteeinheit ausweisen und dass er die entsprechende Fahrzeug-Ausrüstungsliste verwendet. Ohne den Codex wäre das Modell aber nicht komplett spielbar. Und in einer späteren Edition des Codexbuches wäre er dann auch in der Liste drin. So kann ich mur gut vorstellen, dass es ablaufen wird.

Zum Topic:
Jo 30k eben. Interessiert mich jetzt nicht so sehr muss ich sagen. Es gab mal ne Zeit, wo mich das Thema Bruderkrieg extrem geflasht hätte. Aber nachdem das Thema jetzt bald 10 Jahre rauf und runter dekliniert wurde mit dutzenden Romanen, Forge Wolrd Minis und Büchern, Brett- und Kartenspielen, etc. ist der Lack irgendwo ab. Natürlich will ich noch die Minis sehen, aber ich glaube nicht, dass ich mit dieser Zeitschiene noch einmal anfangen werde.

Ich find die Epoche um einiges Interssanter als das standard 40k setting. Interessant ist es für mich aber nur zusammen mit dem Großen Kreuzzug, HH alleine ist langweilig und einseitig. So wie Ferox kann ich es mir auch vorstellen.

Beißt sich ja etwas mit der Aussage, dass Gw die Hobbitlizenz nochmal um 5 Jahre verlängert hat. Aber ich denke wie andere hier auch, dass man da vor allem eine in den Vertzräger vorhandene Option genutzt hat, um die Lizenz noch für einige Zeit im Haus zu behalten und damit (potentiell bessere) Konkurrenzprodukte zu verhindern.


Ansonsten bin ich mal auf das Stand Alone Spiel gespannt. Aber ehrlich gesagt kann ich mir da nichts anderes vorstellen als Istvaan 4, Prospero oder die Belagerung von Terra. Klar gibt es noch andere Schlachten, aber kaum was ist ähnlich bekannt. Ok, Imperator vs Horus - aber ich denke nicht, dass Gw mit so einem Hammer einsteigen wird.

Die Lizenz wurde mit Sicherheit verlängert weil man sonst die Lagerbestände vernichten müsste. Da beisst sich nichts

zum Thema: ich wäre überrascht wen da mehr kommt als ne box a la Space Hulk. Mal schauen

Ich gehe mittlerweile fest von einer Space Hulk box mit entsprechendem Preis und Vefügbarkeit aus.

Angeblich soll die länger verfügbar sein. Allerdings dürfte (bei passendem Inhalt) die (erste, einzige?) Auflage eher rasch vergriffen sein.

Die Zeitlinie wäre ja okay 30k meine ich.

Allerdings stelle ich mir immer Marines gegen Marines langweilig vor. In 30k gab es auch schon xenos nicht wenige Gattungen wurden durch das Imperium ausgelöscht.
Wenn man die auch noch spielbar macht kann jeder entscheiden 30k MArines gegen 30k MArines oder eben Eldar, Orks oder sowas

Langweilig mag sein, aber der Erfolg der Resin Modelle von Forge World zu dem Thema gibt GW duchaus recht. 🙂

Klar, der große Kreuzzug wird sicher spielbar gemacht. Genau das ist es doch, was der Spieler will: Sich eine Xenos-Rasse kaufen und liebevoll bemalen, damit sie dann von den Marines niedergemacht wird. "Doomed by canon" ist immer noch das beste Verkaufsargument :cat:

Ich fände so eine Sturm der Vergeltung Box für 30k super gut. Es gibt in 40k einige Orden die noch in den alten Rüstungen kämpfen. So könnte man mit einer Armee beide Systeme spielen. Wäre schon ziemlich cool.

Rein vom Hintergrund her kämpft noch ein gewisser Teil der CSM mit den alten Rüstungen.

Ach ja und was sie noch nicht geklärt haben, wo sind die ganzen alten Fahrzeuge hin?(vom Hintergrund her)


Haben die überlebenden Primarchen einen Basar augemacht und zum Bleistift die ganzen Jetbikes der Marines verkauft oder wo sind die alle hin?

Es heißt doch auch das alles Kriegsgerät immer gut gewartet wird. Also sollte es auch gut möglich sein das in der ein oder anderen Ordenfestung noch so ein ganzer Trupp (5- 10) Jetbikes zu stehen haben.

10000 Jahre. Selbst wenn alle 100 Jahre in einem Orden ein Jetbike von einer Rakete getroffen wurde, werden die Jetbikes eines Ordens schlicht und einfach hinüber sein. Wenn ein Orden noch welche hat, dann nur, weil sie die Jetbikes ohnehin nie eingesetzt haben.
