Thanks for checking out THON. I have been working on Thon for decades as a pet project, with your help we can now make it a reality.

I have brought the game as far as I can, it's entirely up to you now. Together with this Kickstarter we can bring my visions of glorious utopian sci-fi worlds and the epic struggle between the Thonians and the Sons of Ord to your table.

This Kickstarter for THON will fund the mass production of the plastic injected game models (assembly required), rulebooks, custom dice, markers and packaging and get the game into your home.

The game's Core Set consists of a skirmish sized army from both the Sons of Ord and the Thonian Alliance, dice, markers, reference cards and rulebook.

THON is three games in one; Versus, a 1v1 head to head battle of tactics and wits, a traditional pen and paper style RPG and a casual design your own free-for-all.

Thon pits the Starlight defending Thonians against the ruthless Sons of Ord. The Thonians control the Acquiry; the inter-Starlight Communications network. The Sons of Ord control the Orrery; the inter-Starlight Mining and Terraforming Conglomerate.
When Ord resists the Alliance's Starlight unification, war is imminent.

MAR 3 - Stretch Goal 1 - **New Model // New Highborn Unit**
It was the Highborn Rangers that first trakked Ordhren Movements away from the Eastern Armada Coreward, towards Thon. Nobody could have predicted what would come next. A Highborn Ranger is a Multipurpose Unit for both the Highborn and the Thonian Alliance. If this stretch goal is reached each Core Set will be upgraded with *2* Highborn Rangers.

Forgemaster Tyrian Evo single-handedly fell several Starlight on the distant Eastern Front, earning him the title, Tyrian the Tyrant. The most gifted of all of Ord’s Forgemasters, Tyrian is only the second Forgemaster to earn both the Ordhren Forgemaster and Theledonian Mastertect titles. Tyrian Evo is an Ordhren Overlord option.

Warum frag ich mich warum? tut das not? nein sage ich. Wenn ich Sci Fi Cav auf Hunden haben will kann ich auch bei 40k bleiben

Sie wollen alles mach so wie es aussieht, aber am Ende machen sie damit nix richtig.

Warum denn keine Reitechsen oder Jetbikes (damit macht man nie was falsch) oder gleich weg von Ritter auf Stählerndem Ross Setting hin zu echten SciFi die Konzepte sehen/sahen bis her ganz gut aus.

Anscheinend wollen sie es so.

Schon der Ansatz von drei Spielen in einem hat mir die Nackenhaare aufgestellt. Ich hatte eher auf etwas in Richtung Mass Effect gehofft, aber anscheinend will man wieder mal nur ausgetretene Pfade betreten.

Wäre das ne Aktie würde ich jetzt noch schnell verkaufen bevor der Verlust zu groß wird.
Interessanter weiße hat das Interview auf beast of war den rückläufigen Trend nur noch verstärkt.

Nun, ich habe ja auch nach den ersten Bildern von Thon auf ein schöne SciFi-Skirmischer/Small Army-Wargame in einem HighTech Setting ala MassEffect gehofft. Leider sieht es bei jedem weiteren Bild doch wieder mehr aus wie ein 40k Klon und das bricht dem Projekt jetzt wohl das Genick, denn da denken viele so wie ich: Da kann ich auch gleich beim Original bleiben. Gut, dass ich da kein Geld reingesteckt habe...

von 52k auf 45k in 3 Tagen das sehe auch zum ersten mal das ein KS so zusammen klappt.

Sie haben die Stretchgoals nochmal angepasst, aber ob das noch hilft.

Wir werden sehen, noch sind sie über der Magischen 35k Grenze interessant wird es in den letzten paar tagen werden.

Wobei ich grad sehe das die neuen Goals die alten sind nur mit much more minis, ich spüre da einen hauch der verzweifelung 😉

Schade eigentlich ich hätte mir gern später ein paar der Minis gekauft (wenn sie regulär erhältlich sind) so wie beim Bombshell Minis da will ich auch erst die Ergebnisse abwarten.
