um etwas übersicht hier im forum zu schaffen, habe ich mich entschlossen diesen thread ins leben zu rufen. in letzter zeit haben wir viele thread zu alternativen spielsystemen und oft auch zu kleiner spielen und figurenreihen die nicht so viele spieler anprechen. um aber auch diesen leuten eine plattform zu geben und das ganze übersichtlicher zu gestalten, ist dieser thread hier gedacht.dieser thread soll immer wieder aktualisiert werden und eine schöne sammel und schmökerecke darstellen.

also also neuen news und bilder zu systemen die hier nicht so stark vertreten sind (z.B. urban war, rezolution, wargods, reaper, wyrd, heresy, helldorado usw.). systeme, für die wir in der fanworld eigene unterforen haben, sollen auch weiterhin ihre news, in der normalen gerüchteküche posten.

um den anfang zu machen, möchte ich hier auch gleich einige bilder zu neuen minis diverser firmen posten. (bei bildern bitte gleich noch die url des jehweiligen herstellers mit posten).
in disen thread könnt ihr euch auch gerne über die geposteten gerüchte/infos/bilder diskutieren.

Army Men Combat Released

Hello everyone,

We are proud to announce the release of our newest game: Army Men Combat!

Army Men Combat is the second in a series of system-agnostic games that we have been releasing (the first being Hammer Wars), which are basically games designed to be played with any miniatures you have, regardless of manufacturer.

Today’s game is a throwback to 1st edition 1p40k and its mechanics.

The game is fast and fun, and as always fits on a single page.

Whilst when this idea first popped in my head i thought of it as a game played with green army men, this system works well with almost any miniatures, from ww2 to modern to sci-fi and more!

If you hadn’t caught it already we made a short article on how you can give this game as a gift for Christmas to share the joy of wargaming, which you can read here.

15mm WWI / RCW Russians

It's still barely 2014! And we were determined to release the basic building blocks of the major combatants of 1914 on the hundredth anniversary if it was the last thing we did, so ... here are the Russians!

These would be suitable for the entire war, as well as for the early wars of the Soviet Union, at least up until the Polish-Soviet War (and perhaps beyond), making this by far the most versatile of all the WWI ranges we released this year

The Ion Age: The IMP17 Far Trader is January 2015's free miniature which is automatically put into every order at the rate of one per order of any value. It can also be bought in any amount too on the Monthly IMP page of the website. A Human trader, merchant, adventurer and fortune seeker who takes his armed cargo ship across the Prydian Precinct. Not a fighter but he can defend himself he avoids the conflict zones and visits out of the way star systems.

Standing arms folded in a long coat with cyber implants on his head for rapid calculation and remote controlling he is a great character suitable for any 15mm science fiction setting. It stands 16mm tall and is in one white metal piece. Check more pictures here at The Ion Age blog.

I would like to take this chance to thank everyone who contacted us and ordered from us in December and during the festive period. We are returning to normal and orders will be shipping out once more beginning in the next few days. 2015 is a brand new year and we are going to be expanding in a big way with new vehicle types, new armies, aliens and more so keep on watching us.


This starts with the Planetary Militia expansion and we will have information on this shortly. The Planetary Militia will see The Ion Age create the last part of our 28mm range into 15mm scale and give you the forces to enact planetary defence against invaders and domestic threats from the Marcher Barons to the Khanate Empire and more. As you might remember, we've been working on the Blackwater Gulch board game for quite a while, previously called Blackwater Gulch Adventures. After getting lots of feedback from many of you I decided to switch the format back to the original "weird west" setting, and now we have Bad Lands.It's a co-op survival game where you form a posse defending the town from an onslaught of vicious skinwalkers (werewolves, etc) and other folklore creatures like chupacbras and not-so-cute jackalopes. You can play as a stand-alone game where you just kill monsters and get loot, or do ongoing campaigns. You can use the heroes right out of the box, or minis from Blackwater Gulch, or create your own heroes from scratch.
