'Star Trek: Discovery' Comes to 'Star Trek: Online' in 'Age of Discovery' Star Trek: Discovery is coming to Star Trek Online in the MMORPG€™s latest storyline, Age of Discovery.
Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios today announced Star Trek Online: Age of Discovery, a new multi-part storyline inspired by the first season of the CBS All Access series Star Trek: Discovery.
For the first time, Star Trek Online players will be able to create a Federation Captain from the Star Trek: Discovery era. Their captain will then join forces with Starfleet Academy Cadet Sylvia Tilly, voiced by Star Trek: Discovery star Mary Wiseman.
Star Trek Online: Age of Discovery€™s first installment will also introduce a new Discovery era tutorial, two episodes, new Reputation Tiers, a new queue (now referred to as a Task Force Operation) and several other new gameplay features
Here€™s a summary of Star Trek Online: Age of Discovery€™s story, released by Perfect World: €œAge of Discovery opens in the year 2256, just after the Battle at the Binary Stars. In the wake of a brutal war against the Klingons, Starfleet Captains now face J€™Ula, matriarch of the House of Mo€™Kai and sister of T€™Kuvma, who seeks to alter the destiny of the Alpha Quadrant. Players must rely on the help of fellow Starfleet Academy Cadet Sylvia Tilly (voiced by Mary Wiseman), who has come home to assist with training and see them off on their first assignment.
From there, they will journey to iconic locations from Star Trek: Discovery, like the Dilithium Mines of Corvan II, explore the new experimental Crossfield class Starship, the U.S.S. Glenn, and defend Starbase 1 from a fearsome attack by the Klingon House of D€™Ghor.€�
Star Trek: Discovery fans will recognize the USS Glenn as the USS Discovery€™s sister ship. Both ships were studying the use of the mycelial network for space travel. The Glenn had achieved this goal by studying the tardigrade-like animal that would later be named Ripper.
Following the Glenn€™s destruction, the Discovery sent over an away team that discovered Ripper and pieced together what had transpired. Lt. Paul Stamets was eventually able to replicate the work done on the Glenn and get the Discovery up to speed (see the episode "The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry").
The first installment of Age of Discovery will introduce a new starting experience allowing players to create a Federation character from the Discovery era. The update also includes two new Discovery episodes available to all characters, a new Task Force Operation to defend Starbase 1 and an expansion to the game€™s Reputation System to Tier 6 that unlocks powerful new rewards. Additional details, including Age of Discovery€™s debut date, will be announced later this year.
Age of Discovery is the second major addition to Star Trek Online this year. The game already released its newest full expansion, the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine-themed Victory is Life, which raised the game's level-cap to 65.
Star Trek Online is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
The first season of Star Trek: Discovery is available to stream in its entirety on CBS All Access in the United States, through CraveTV in Canada, and through Netflix in other international markets. Star Trek: Discovery Season Two is now filming in Toronto and will premiere in January 2019.

Als KDF Spieler haste diverse Möglichkeiten.
-Du kannst 10 von denen gegen Roh Dil beim Security Offizier eintauschen (da wo du auch Contarband oder totde Tribbles ablädst)
-Bei "Marauding" doffen gibts durchaus mal Missionen wo man 1-3 Gefangene irgendwo abliefert
-Bei Sector doffing gibts auch hie & da mal Missionen wo man Gefangene bei Kolonie XY für Dil abliefert.

Vor allem die "Gefangenen Pakete" die man aus Admirality Missionen bekommt sollte man aufheben. Die kann man gut nutzen wenn ein Dil-Wochenende läuft und man sich nicht groß vom Security Offizier weg bewegt 😉

This is all early info obtained with the normal ways of even accessing the Rep window being disabled. Is possible any of this could change.

  • Tier 6 is 250k XP
    • T5>T6 will need 905 Marks. (30 x 30 for dailies, 5 for "Claim T6 Rep")
  • Dmg bonus for Set weapons is 2% Cat 2 / Bonus
  • Rep Traits get a 25% Buff. Those with a duration have duration extended.
  • Fleet Ship Module unlock costs 100 Marks
    • Skill Respec option will prob be the same, but isn't there atm

900 Marken pro reputation [wenn gesponsort], pro toon, wo man leveln möchte ist natürlich nicht wenig. Also ggf. eine gute Idee die aktuelle Breach farmerei dahingehend shconmal auf Marken horten auszuweiten 😉

Ansonsten gabs halt noch Info das bei dem AoS update die Storymissionen ggf. mal angepasst/überhaolt werden

Quick Primer for all the new reputation stuff:

  • It'll take 905 marks to go from T5 -> T6.
    • Total Costs are (assuming going from T5 -> T6):
    • 905 Marks, 450,000 EC, 60,000 Expertise, 30 Days
  • Hitting T6 will unlock new energy types for most set weapons, these are:
    • Task Force Omega: Tetryon (Autocarbine), Disruptor (MACO weapons), Phaser (KHG weapons)
    • Nukara: Antiproton (Space Weapons), Ground weapons don't get new variants
    • New Romulus: Disruptor
    • Dyson: Nothing
    • 8472 Counter-Command: Tetryon/Plasma (Space), Polaron/Plasma (Ground)
    • Delta Alliance: Antiproton
    • Iconian Resistance: Tetryon
    • Terran Task Force: Phaser
    • Temporal Defense Initiative: Polaron
    • Lukari Restoration Initiative: Plasma
    • Competitive Wargames: Antiproton
    • Gamma Task Force: Phaser
    • Set Bonuses boosting specific damage types (for example, Counter Command Ordnance's Phaser and Disruptor boost) have been updated to include the new additions.
    • Lastly, hitting T6 in a reputation boosts that reputations set weapon damage.
    • (These should be mostly correct, I might've gotten one or two wrong though)
  • Reputation Traits become Rank 2 traits, becoming around 25% stronger. For an example of this boost, see here.
All of this will be added to the wiki tomorrow including new items, costs, and a general streamlining of each individual reputation page to be a bit cleaner. Traits will be updated a bit later because uh, there's a lot of them.
Edit: I believe the prices for the new stuff is:

  • Account Wide Discount - 175 Marks, 25,000 Dilithium, 100,000 EC (Omega/Nukara/New Romulus) - 100 Marks, 5 Elite Marks, 20,000 Dilithium, 100,000 EC (Other Reputations)
  • Claim a Fleet Ship Module - 100 Marks
  • Claim a Retrain Token - 50 Marks
  • Claim a Vanity Shield - 300 Marks

Mußt ja nicht jeden toon hochpumpen. Reicht ja nur den Main zu machen und dann ggf. 2-4 andere die man eher "regelmäßig" fliegt und wo man die ein oder andere Belohnung brauchen kann. Außerdem behalte im Hinterkopf das du tonnenweise crap aus den rep-kisten rausbekommst, welche zumindest ein klein wenig EC zurückgeben 😉 Aber ja, es ist nicht ganz billig seine ganzen reps hochzujagen.
