THE DEAD OF SYLVANIA - the armylist
army special rules:
number of gravemarks: 2+number of lord choices allowed in army
You position the markers as follows:
- 50% must be positioned in your half of the field
- there must be a minimum of 6" between the marks
- no marks in the oponents deployment zone
after that roll the scatter die for each mark and move it 2d6 (hit remains)
Marks which go of the field are lost
Each mark is a bound spell, lvl 4, you can cast in each of your magic phases. It contains the second level of "invocation of Nehek". If successful, you may deploy the the 2d6 Skellies or 2d6+2 zombies in 6" radius around the mark.
The skellies or zombies are equipped as you wish.
Skellies: shield, light armour, spear or halberd or light armour and Xbow
Zombies: shield, light armour, spear or halberd
von Carstein Vampires:
- no new rules for Mannfred v. Carstein[/color]
- army can be led by a baron.
- Vampire Lords are no longer 0-1
- Vampire thralls are 1+
new powers:
- wolf lord 10P. = invocation of N. works with wolves (W3/2W3/3W3 Direwolves/summoning) ;
- earthbind 10P. = MR1;
- spectral attendant 35. = enemy -1 to casting roll, only one in army.
- Absolutely NO Necromancers - Manfred doesn't like to share power.
New options for skeletons and zombies:
- sylvanian levy: zombies with l. armour, shield, spear
- sylvanian militia: skellies with light armor, shield, spear or halberd for 10 pts.; may change for Xbow
Grave Guard have the option to wear Full Plate and wield Great Weapons. This is, however, limited to one unit +3P/Model - the Drakenhoff Guard.
Black Knights are limited to 0-1 rare, the Knights of Drakenhoff.
Direwolves: One unit may be upgraded to scouts at +1 pts./mod.
0-2 bat swarms.
fell bats are core but do not count towards minimum core req.
black coach is 0-2 special unit at 175 pts.
Magic Items:
- Drakenhof Banner 50P. = Summon powers in 12" are doubled and MR2, works only for summoning wolves or bats.
