Echsenmenschen / Seraphon Armeebuch - Preorder am 31.10.2015

Archibald_TK - Warseer:

Quick update from the WD in case it wasn't posted before (I didn't follow that thread and I see too much text to read on my screen for my own sanity):

- Repackaging, no new models. They didn't put a list with prices in the WD but I don't think there is a reason for any box to have a different price than usual (except maybe the Temple Guards? They are now 15 in the box, were there that much in the past?). Thing is, from the boxes pictures in the WD I am under the impression that some models haven't been repackaged (The Triceratops I don't remember seeing, the Skink Priest is also the only clampack shown, thought don't quote me on that one I just glanced at the page). There is also a big box that I didn't even notice before looking at the list at the end of the WD, I think it's a set of big monsters.

- A Battletome, cheaper than the previous ones (price of a regular old army book). Also available in limited edition.

There are 1000 LE books if I remember correctly. Speaking of memory, let's activate it so that I try to remember the boxes I've seen in the WD:
- The T-Rex
- The Bastiladon (hey I remember a LM monster name!)
- Skinks (24 models)
- Saurus (20 models)
- Surprisingly the Saurus Knights (8 models)
- Temple Guards (15 models)
- Skink Starpriest (Destiny has Wizards from the moon, AoS has priests from the stars!)

That's all I remember for now.

Seraphon - White Dwarf

Chaos Release

Darnok - Warseer Forum

There is a couple of special Chaos Knights following Archaon, as well as a Tzeentch character. A Battle Tome to go with all of them as well.

And there is more for AoS in January...

Unterwegs für Age of Sigmar sind ein Armeebuch ('Chaos'), Tzeentch Charaktermodell, spezielle Chaos Ritter

Und Maßbänder mit AoS Motiv

Chaos Releases mit Schwerpunkt Tzeentch in 2016

I'm willing to bet that we won't see a CSM release in 2016. In fact, I'm willing to be wearing a Maple Leafs jersey for an entire week! (and I say this as a die hard Habs fan)

If you think of a full new CSM Codex 7th Ed. with a full overhaul of rules and/or models, you're probably right.

If you mean absolutely nothing for Chaos Marines, you'll be wrong.

It is true that 2016 will have (among other things) a (mostly AoS) Tzeentch-theme running through it, similar to how 2015 had Khorne.

The reason there likely won't be a Tzeentch Daemonkin, is because GW is doing possible cross-overs a bit more deliberately than the written-over-a-weekend KDK.

That said, just about the only thing in a fairly impressive pipeline of (mostly AoS) Tzeentch that is NOT ready or even sculpted yet, is the LoC. If he comes, he'll be the tail end, possibly as late as 2017, not the kick-off to Tzeentch the way the Bloodthirster was for Khorne.

New releases:

Fyreslayers Hearthguard (5 miniatures) - 33€ 25£ 40$
Slayers with shorter beards with what looks like shooting weapons, greataxes or some sort of flail halberd.

Fyreslayer Vulkite Berserkers (10 miniatures) - 45€ 35£ 60$
Slayers with dual axes, or a bladed shield coupled with an axe or pickaxe.

Fyreslayer Auric Runemaster (1 model) 23€ 18£ 30$
This is not the one we saw on the sprue, that one carries some sort of brazero staff and he... he... he has no mustache!

SURPRISE! The WD shows the models that have yet to be released everywhere. I find the new giant salamander to be absolutely gorgeous. IMO in term of design they take models like the slaughterbrute, break them in half, throw the parts into an incinerator and bury the ashes 3 feet under.

For those wondering, Fyreslayers use the Ur-Gold to create runes over their own body. I have no time to actually read the WD but I'll come back later if there is anything interesting. I think that army design is a success.

Fyreslayers

Mehr zu den Fyreslayern von Archibald_TK - Warseer Forum

The way the scales are done, especially on the head, they kind of remind me of the demon/dragon design I would expect from Japanese or Korean video games. (multiple horns, heavily segmented horns instead of a smooth single piece).

There are two models, one carry some sort of Runemaster on a throne (which alas I find looks like he has a broom up his...), the other a lord with some awesome weapons, some actually designed long enough that the dwarf can hit something smaller than a Carnosaur with it.

Mehr Infos via Archibald_TK

A few more nuggets of info from the WD:

- Fyreslayers are born from the fight between Grimnir and Vulcatrix.
- Fyreslayers believe that in Ur-Gold resides the essence of Grimnir, their shattered God.
- Ur-Gold is magical. There is a funny rule when you play a Runemaster where your opponent chooses one of his units as carrying some gold, and thanks to it said unit can reroll all 1 to wound. But better not let the Runemaster get close enough and realize you are carrying the gold or the Fyreslayers will go all chop chop on you.
- When they insert Ur-Gold runes in their flesh, their God's energy starts flowing through their vein. This lead to things like being surrounded by flames, striking harder, more resilient skin (I suppose that's why they have 5+ save).

This is how each of their chapters is organized:
- Chapter mast.. no wait what am I saying? I mean Auric Runefather.
- Below that is the Auric Runemaster (the one in the WD)
- Auric Runesmiters
- Grimwrath Berzerkers
- Auric Runesons
- Hearthguard Berzerkers and Auric Hearthguard (the ones in the WD)
- Battlesmiths
- Vulkite Berzerkers (the ones in the WD)

PS- They're not actually called Chapters as you already guessed, but I don't know how to translate the real name in English.

Sorry but there are quite frankly too many things in the WD for me to read everything.

Die Regeln der Hearthguard Berzerkers (auf französisch)

http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/328691CAM00147.jpg

First rule says:

Composition: A unit of hearthguard berzerkers is composed of 5 or more models. I cannot make out wether or not you are allowed to mix weapons in a unit, reflection is in the way. I THINK that it says that units are equipped with either melee weapon 1 or 2, suggesting that you cannot mix weapons throughout the unit. It MAY read that 'some units have Firejet throwing axes' in addition to their melee weapon.

Unit Leader: The Unit Leader is called a Karl. He adds 1 to the damage characteristic of his melee weapon(s)

Special rules: Service until death: Every time a unit of Hearthguard Berzerkers suffers a wound or a mortal wound, roll a dice. On a roll of 6, the wound is ignored. Add 2 to the roll if there is a friendly hero with the fireslayer keyword within 10".

Everytime a model armed with a Flamestrike Poleaxe rolls a hit, roll an additional dice. For each result of 3 or more, the targeted unit suffers a mortal wound after the regular attacks have been resolved.

My french is a bit rusty, and I didn't translate the fluff part of the rules.

Und noch eine Ladung Fotos. Detailbilder, Charakter und ein anderes Farbschema

Fyreslayer Magmadroth

The Magmadroth are here - and some other Fyreslayer heroes!

Was soll das?
