Naja, der ist signifikant größer als der alte, nur halt nicht mehr ganz so massig. Ist ja grad irgendwie trend bei PP die Figuren auf Hungerkur zu schicken. Aber so wirklich cool find ich den auch nicht...

aber hallo. Wenn du ein Wesen eher sehning darstellen willst, dann kann man das auch anders machen. Alleine der Gürtel ist sowas von lächerlich, er sieht aus wie ein 50kg Wrestler mit einem Heavyweight Titelgurt- da muss man eindeutig den Drehmel ansetzen. Die Beinposition geht auch gar nicht- da kann man evtl mit etwas biegen und feilen mehr draus machen. Die Arme sind der Burner. Ohne dass man die komplett repositioniert kann man an dem Satyr machen was er will, der wird nach wie vor dämlich aussehen. Ich freu mich- gibt gutes Geld für Conversions.🙄

Allso der obere sieht noch richtig gut aus aber der untere ist sowas von mickrig!!!!
Wie kann man sowas nur machen ich bin entäuscht.

Die Circle Ziege ist kein "Unique" Warbeast im Gegensatz zu den anderen vorgestellten Beasts, es besteht also die Möglichkeit das Circle noch einen Unique Woldwraith bekommen könnte (der hoffentlich besser aussieht wie die Ziege, Sie scheint ja der Mehrheit hier absolut nicht zu gefallen).

Naja, der ist signifikant größer als der alte, nur halt nicht mehr ganz so massig. Ist ja grad irgendwie trend bei PP die Figuren auf Hungerkur zu schicken.

Von den Proportionen her sehen die sich doch sehr ähnlich, der erste wirkt eben massiger wegen seiner gedrungenen Haltung und aufgrund der Schulterpanzer. Und die Schienen lassen seine Beine eben auch etwas dicker und "tragfähiger" erscheinen.

Hmmm. also die Skizzen sind wirklich ganz cool, vor allem ist es nett zu sehen, auf wieviele Details geachtet wird 🙂

Die Ziege ist lächerlich, der Skorne-Zyklop wäre echt stylisch wenn er nicht so ne bescheuerte Maske hätte.
Ich finde die Designs von PP echt gut, aber da sind immer so ein paar Details, die das ganze wieder einen durchwachsenen Beigeschmack hinterlassen...

HORDES: Metamorphosis Releases February 25, 2009!


Das sind nicht die einzigen Neuigkeiten (auch wenn das astreine Neuigkeiten sind, wann hat ein Hersteller schon mal einen Release nach VORNE verschoben?!). Bezüglich der PoM Bastions hab ich grad folgendes gefunden:

I spoke to the owner of my FLGS today after doing a game with the Bastions proxied (and they were made of pure win). He had done some investigation and had called his sales rep for privateer press and Privateer is having extreme difficulty finding a manufacturer that can reliably deliver plastic models of sufficient detail.

Matt wasn't kidding when he said to trust him.

The main problem, as I understand it, it with mold release when the models are injection molded. Plastics have the tendency to stick to the molds when releasing and this can cause fine detail to snap off.

My FLGS owner told me that Privateer has committed that if they can't solve this issue, they will issue the Bastions in metal.

Bottom line, if these models cost a dollar a point...I would pay it. As I said...they are pure, str8 up, unadulterated win.

Kann also sein das die Bastions doch noch in Metall erscheinen, wenn PP keinen vernünftigen Hersteller für die Plastik Modelle findet. Ich bin gespannt, hätte Sie am liebsten gestern statt morgen schon hier (oder wenigstens mal gesehen =)

Also das was der gute "Matt" hier über Plastik erzählt, hat auch irgendwann schon mal Jean Bey behauptet.

Allerdings hat Jean Bey seine PrePainte Platic Minis durchgezogen, mit herben Verlusten. PP wird, so sieht es im Moment aus (und dafür sind Sie ja auch bekannt, das Sie nur 1A Qualität auf den Markt bringen), dann die Bastions wohl doch aus Metall liefern wenn Sie keine 1A Qualität Plastik Bastions bekommen können.

Und ich persönlich traue Matt Wilson mehr zu wie Jean Bey.

Warmachine 2.0 kommt in 2010.

PRIVATEER PRESS ANNOUNCES NEW EDITIONS OF WARMACHINE AND HORDES

Seattle WA. February 9, 2009—Privateer Press, Inc. is proud to announce the new Mk II edition rules for its WARMACHINE and HORDES tabletop games.

“In the past six years of WARMACHINE, the game has grown rapidly, and we feel the time has come to reevaluate and retool in preparation for the upcoming years of full metal combat. We have chosen to tighten the bolts on both the general game rules and the individual model rules to make every model as compelling as possible and to perfect the WARMACHINE experience,” stated Jason Soles, Privateer Press lead developer.

The public will get their first look at the WARMACHINE Mk II rules in April through an open field test, allowing players to become familiar with the changes while providing feedback that will assist Privateer Press in making final adjustments to WARMACHINE Mk II before going to press.

The WARMACHINE: Prime Mk II rulebook will be released to the public in early 2010. The new edition of HORDES will follow later in the year. All tournaments, leagues, and release events that make up Privateer Press organized play will adopt the new edition on its release.
