Zählt Azrael's Ability (Masterful Tactician) auch dann, wenn er sich in einem Transporter befindet?

Voraussetzung ist "... if this model is on the battlefield ...".

Sind Modelle in Transporter "on the battlefield"? Und wenn nicht, wo sind die dann?

Das steht unter Embark in den Core Rules:

Remove the unit from the battlefield
and place it to one side – it is now embarked within
that Transport model. Unless otherwise stated, units
cannot do anything or be affected in any way while
they are embarked.

Modelle in Transportern können nix machen und werden auch durch nichts beeinflusst.

Sie sind im Transporter, also quasi auf dem Schlachtfeld. Spielregeltechnisch sind sie allerdings nicht auf dem Schlachtfeld.

Insofern kann ich die beliebte Dark Angels Taktik "Azrael mit Inner Circle Companions in Impulsor" auch nie ganz nachvollziehen.

Ja. Die hat sich bei mir gerade erledigt. Das wären in min. 2 von 5 Runden kein Benefit durch Masterful Tactician.
