Auf die Frage, wann das Directorat Gunschip kommen wird gab Dellboy folgende Antwort im Spartan Forum.

The model you are thinking of is the Heavy Gunship.
It will be out with the Aerial Helix (sometime in the second quarter of this year)

Still to come is the flying Directorate Leviathan in its 2 variants - The Wraith and the Spectre ......one is a massive gun platform (that drops Recon Buggies into the battlefield) and the other is a Cyber Warfare delivery system that boosts CW-attacks around it (as well as dropping 2x Cyber Warfare Tanks into the battlefield!).

No pics sadly, as I have to wait until Spartan show it first....but its bloomin' massive at about 7-8" across!

It is my new 'favourite'...... I know we should have favourite from amongst our children....but we do.

Cheers

PFTA03 Terran Alliance Firepower Leviathan Helix
The Odin Class Leviathan advances through the battlefield shrugging off all bar the most concerted attacks using a combination of heavy armour and overlapping shield technology. Armed with a powerful G-72 Legacy Laser, this Terran war machine is one of the most powerful vehicle killers in the Firestorm Galaxy ? woe betide the enemy that presents its flank to this behemoth!
In addition to its main armament, the Odin also carries a powerful Shrike Heavy Rotor Gun for engaging aerial threats and a number of body mounted Heavy Raptor Grenade Launchers for overwhelming dug-in enemy Infantry at short range.
Finally, the Odin has the ability to execute Artillery Attacks using a Nexus Designator. Whilst only short range, the Odin frequently uses the attack to defend itself from approaching foes by calling down the attack upon itself!.... shrugging off the damage and destroying any remnants of surrounding foes with a combination of grenades and close quarters battle.
Terran Firepower Leviathan Helix are commonly supported by up to two Squadrons of Valkyrie Light Tanks. These are used to capture objectives close to their command element, and operate best in close support with other elements in a Terran Alliance battle line.
Contains: 1 Odin Class Leviathan, 10 Valkyrie Light Recon Tanks and 1 Drop Site Marker. Models supplied unpainted and unassembled.

PFDF03 Dindrenzi Federation Firepower Leviathan Helix
The Hyperion Leviathan perfectly exemplifies the mindset of the Federation forces ? that of the fast assault aggressor. Rugged and dependable, the Leviathan is capable of sustaining tremendous punishment during its military operations across the Firestorm Galaxy. The humanoid design is intended to exemplify the ?human perfection through adversity? strategic thinking of the Dindrenzi, as well as deliver terrifying proof of the ?superiority of man?.
The devastating vehicle is armed with two arm-mounted Mangonel-VII Titan Cannons ? a new design that permits the tracking of targets over a far greater range without adversely affecting the Leviathan?s power supply.
In addition, the Hyperion has a shoulder rack fitted with Estock Flak Launchers, allowing the war machine to defend large areas of the battlefield with an umbrella of anti-air fire. The Hyperion is also fitted with a Nexus Designator, secreted within the command centre in the war machine?s head. This serves to support the rest of the Dindrenzi drop assets that are waiting for their turn to prove themselves in the maelstrom of battle.
The Firepower Leviathan Helix may also find itself supported by up to two squadrons of Leto Light Tanks. These are specially modified to permit the vehicles to drop from low orbit into the thick of the action. Ordinarily these vehicles execute a light reconnaissance role in the Dindrenzi battle formations, however the modified Letos in the Firepower Helix are more likely to find themselves in close support of their command element, assaulting targets that attempt to engage the war machine?s flanks.
Contains: 1 Hyperion Class Leviathan, 10 Leto Light Recon Tanks and 1 Drop Site Marker. Models supplied unpainted and unassembled.

PFTD03 The Directorate Firepower Leviathan Helix
The Wraith cuts a solitary figure as it drifts across the battlefields of a myriad of world in the Firestorm Galaxy. At a glance the huge flying Leviathan might seem to be lightly armed, but nothing could be further from the truth. Using a combination of underslung plasma cannons and flamethrowers, the offensive potential of the Wraith is more than a match for any other Leviathan on the battlefield.
However, it is through its tactical flexibility that the Wraith proves its true worth in the heat of battle. Mounted within its superstructure is a transported Armoured Personnel Carrier ? the Haunter. The Haunter performs two roles for the Directorate: firstly, it acts as a transport that can safely bring in a powerful cadre of Patriot Light Infantry who have been organised into what is known as a Grand Company. Secondly, the Haunter emits a powerful short range radio transmission that interfaces with nearby Directorate Infantry via a neural link, making them even more aggressive and bloodthirsty in battle!
Upon delivering its payload, the Haunter moves to a position of relative safety to continue its broadcast, bringing the nearby Directorate troops to a point of battlefield frenzy. The Grand Companies of the Directorate are far larger than their standard Patriot Cadres, and are frequently sent into battle-zones where the fighting is expected to be especially fierce. Attrition is expected and factored by Directorate Commanders.
Contains: 1 Wraith Class Leviathan, 1 Haunter Armoured Personnel Carrier and 8 Patriot Infantry Bases. Models supplied unpainted and unassembled.

Also eine Ordentlich große Armee.

Und DZC kommt mir immer noch teurer vor (von den Plastic Startern abgesehen).

Aquan Prime Firepower Leviathan Helix – 55,00 GBP
The graceful stride of the El-Shami Firepower Leviathan very often spells death to the enemies of Aquan Prime forces. Its sleek lines, excellent manoeuvrability and powerful fore mounted firepower make it a most dangerous opponent that hunts its foes though the blasted battlefields of the Firestorm Galaxy with a predatory hunger.
The Leviathan is armed with two deadly Solar Titan Lasers that are capable of eliminating any target in the Firestorm Galaxy with a combination of blistering laser fire and pinpoint accuracy that is unparalleled amongst its contemporaries.
In addition to these weapons, the El-Shami has a built-in Nexus Designator that is can use to further increase its damage potential by use of highly effective target locks.
The war engine also has a powerful anti-infantry weapon that strikes fear into the hearts of its targets – the Venom Missile System. This prototype weapon is often used on Aquan Ground Attack Aircraft, but not in the numbers mounted on the El-Shami, which fields the system in unprecedented amounts.
In addition, the El-Shami is often accompanied by a number of Imzani Light Skimmers, the crews of which are chosen from amongst the best of the Aquan Battle Shoals. These ‘super-elites’ are utterly fearless and provide excellent support to their parent element, both in terms of its raw firepower and tactical flexibility.

  • 1 El-Shami
  • 8 Imzani Light Skimmers
Sorylian Collective Firepower Leviathan Helix – 60,00 GBP
At first glance the Nor’Bar’Ro Firepower Leviathan is often mistaken as a beast of burden, but nothing could be more from the truth. In Sorylian Collective society the ‘Ancient One’ stands as a paragon of intellect and maturity amongst other members of society.
A creature blessed with far reaching knowledge and a profound understanding of the various theatres of war, the Ancient stands as a bulwark against the enemies of the Collective, imparting its learning to its followers while at the same time it devastates the enemy with a variety of advanced weaponry.
The Ancient carries a howdah on its broad back from which it directs debilitating firepower, bringing down enemy flyers with ease using its Nar’Mok Precision Missiles and engaging enemy armour with its dual Nar’Vak Titan Cannons. When the enemy do eventually close with the behemoth, the Ancient focuses its Sar’Nav Grenade Launchers to finally finish its foes off.
The Ancient is often accompanied by a number of fanatical Ka’Kun Light Skiff units who are Oath Sworn to their master, and will fight to the death to defend it. Whilst not heavily armed, these light recon vehicles can be used to harass enemy who stray too close, ready for the Nor’Bar’Ro to finish them.

  • 1 Nor’Bar’Ro Ancient
  • 4 Sorylian infantry miniatures
  • 10 Ka’Kun Light Skiffs
The Relthoza Firepower Leviathan Helix – 55,00 GBP
There are few war engines in the Firestorm Galaxy that inspire the same degree of dread amongst its enemies as the Varisei-Kei. Armed with two banks of Chrysalis Shard Cannons, this mighty vehicle is capable of directing a fearsome amount of ordnance at a single target or, if required, it can engage different enemies using its advanced targeting systems. When the enemy close in, the powerful Bio-Toxin Projectors mounted in the vehicle’s tail can sweep across formations, spitting out caustic acid capable of eating through all bar the thickest of armour.
The Varisei-Kei is also blessed with some of the best nanites developed by the Relthozan tech-adepts, giving the massive war engine the ability to cloak itself on the battlefield. This tremendous feat of engineering is also supplemented with the enhanced self-repair systems that are consistently found on Relthozan military assets.
In addition to the Varisei- Kei, the Helix is often fielded with a number of contingents of Namisc Light Drones. These warriors are far down the pupation-path to becoming a fully-fledged Rethozan warrior, but are specially chosen to escort the Leviathan as they have been seen to exhibit a higher degree of aggression than normal pupates at the same level of development.

  • 1 Vardiss Heavy Walker
  • 12 Namisc Light Walkers
