Und Hydra/Kraken klingt auch nicht ganz plausibel. Auf ein Krakenmonster würde ich mich freuen, aber das würde wohl etwas deplatziert auf dem Land aussehen. Wie der Kraken von HdR. Ausserdem haben eine Hydra und ein Kraken keine nennenswerte anatomische Ähnlichkeit.

Hälse der Hydra könnten auch als Tentakel eines Kraken verbaut werden, beides wächst aus einem großen Körper heraus.

Gerade dieses Gerücht halte ich für eines der wahrscheinlichsten... und seit sie dieses "ich-hab-ein-Feuerrad-auf-dem-Rücken-Chutulu-Tentakel-Dingsbums" herausgebracht haben, dürfte die Agumentation mit der angeblich wenigen anatomischen Ähnlichkeit kaum mehr ziehen.
Ein Seeungeheuer das auch auf Land umherkriechen kann fände ich sehr geil! 🙂

Ja, aber die Hälse wachsen nach oben und werden kaum schmaler am Ende und die hat Beine und... naja, eigentlich hast du recht. Bei GW weiss man heutzutage nicht mehr, was man erwarten kann ^^

Seeungeheuer auf Land gibt es ja schon von FW. Aber gut, wir werden uns überraschen lassen müssen, was da kommt.

According to Radio 40k, the WE are "incredible. They all have dynamic poses and look very fluid. Their hair are like the original models in the 90's but its not as big. If your a fan of the WE, you will be stoked about these models."

Apparently, and according to the latest comments in the fb thread, Warlocks look like male WEs.
Also, Execs wear a skull-like helmet, much like the Eldar Deathjester. And the Cauldron is, at least, on a chariot base.

Execs use swords (phew!). Black Guards look "amazing", with bulkier shoulders and tall helmets with plumes, so I guess pretty much like they look now (in that respect at least).
The Cauldron has six wheels and two staircases leading up to the platform with the big statue of Khaine. It is not pulled by anything, so maybe (my assumption it will be used like the Screaming Bell? Three Witch Elves on it, lots of spikes and blades.

Edit: and more! The Witch Elves have loincloths and bras (obviously) and look "vicious". On the Throne, there is something that looks like half-Witch Elf, half Medusa, with snakes as hair.

The new Hydra is beefier than the current one. And the WEs on the Throne use spears.

Edit: Warlocks are bare-chested, with long flowing hair, painted white. They seem to have black eyes (or no eyes), except for the champion, whose eyes are glowing. Dark Riders are cloaked (of course), and hunched over in the saddle, in order to present a low profile.

Soooo.
Beschreibungen gehen weiter:

-The Kraken has 5 heads/fanged maws. The have spines and scales with smooth neck and belly flesh. Scales are painted a Dark Grey with the softer flesh painted blue. Looks awesome.
-The pictures we have of the Witch Elves has them with two hand weapons.
-Black Guard look very stalwart with large halberds and high helms with 3 spikes on each side with a flowing plume on top. Their armor is black trimmed in gold and they have dark purple cloaks. The unit champion is holding a sword by the hilt with the blade planted in the ground. Musician is a drummer.
-The executioners have what look like skull helms, and their armor is a brighter silver than the Black Guard. Their tunics are red in color and the Draiches are all held on the left hand side of their bodies (their left our right). They look very cool ranked up.

The Dark Riders are very cool looking. Sleek looking horses with only a bit of armor. All of the Riders are hunched over in the saddle to give the illusion of speeding fast cav. The helmets appear to be open faced and they are armed with spears in the picture I have, once again that doesn't mean they wont get crossbows (in the pictures we have they are in the back ground behind the Warlocks). The Kraken doesn't have tentacles, it has four legs with webbed appendages ending in claws and it also has a tail. The Cauldron of Blood/Blood Throne look very cool. If you are a fan of the newer larger models GW has been putting out for WHFB you will really dig it. It is a bit toned down compared to the Empire Celestial Hurricanum/Luminark of Hysh and has blades and hooks on it to make it very sinister and Dark Elf. I also want to say thanks for such the warm welcome. I am glad that you guys are fired up for this release. As soon as more info becomes available to us I will share it on our Facebook and post here too. I will continue to answer questions about the models to the best of my ability and thank you for being very understanding as to why we cant release the pictures sent to us. You guys are awesome!

Ich hoffe dieses Armeebuch wird nicht so enttäuschend wie das der Echsenmenschen. Modelle Top - Buch Flop wäre hier sehr schade. Seh ich das dann richtig, dass Dunkelelfen keine Monst. Kav. haben werden?

Und insgesamt dürfte es an Monstern in der Armee nicht mangeln.

Aber nur mal so am Rande, dass Armeebuch Echsen ist schlecht? schade :-(
Bei den DE erwarte ich aber eher ein Power-Buch.

Es ist nicht schlecht, nur im Vergleich mit den Kriegern des Chaos ist es nicht so stark. Nein mich ärgert, dass einige Einheiten so gut wie gar keinen Sinn haben, bzw. den Sinn den se vielleicht haben könnten viel zu teuer dann ist. Ich bin halt kein Fan von offensichtlichen Codexleichen und frage mich einfach nur WIESO? Gerade bei Echsenmenschen sind 2-3 Fehler drin die dringend geklärt werden müssen. Der Autor scheint das Regelbuch einfach nicht gekannt zu haben als er das geschrieben hat. Und ich hoffe einfach, dass da bei den Dunkelelfen anders drangegangen wird. Es muss kein Powerbuch sein, aber es sollte zumindest Regelkonform geschrieben sein mit Einheiten die Sinn ergeben.

Das Echsenbuch ist ein Buch voller verpasster Chancen. Mehr soll HIER aber bitte dazu nicht mehr verloren werden, da im Echsen-Gerüchthema und im Echsen-Unterforum genug dazu steht.^^

Was die Monstr. Kav. angeht, so glaube ich nicht, dass die Elfenvölker diese bekommen sollen. HE haben sie nicht und in den Gerüchten bisher ist sie auch nicht aufgetaucht. Genau genommen wird die Monstr. Kav. schon fast zur Seltenheit. Imps, KdC, DdC und GK haben sie. Der Rest (der neuen Bücher) nicht. Und die leben (meist) ganz gut damit.

Auf monströse Kravallerie ( 5€ in die Wortspielkasse) kann ich persöhnlich verzichten. Bin schon froh, dass ich nun endlich auf neue schwarze Reiter hoffen darf.

All the rumours from 40k correlate with my source as well so i presume its accurate.
some more rules rumours. signature spell increases strength by 1 and adds d3 power dice to your pool ala power of darkness. And the scourgerunner has a S7 bolt thrower with no armor saves. (apparently it's used to hunt monsters). There's a new type of Lord choice - think sea helm for DE. Has a sword for a leg. the model looks cool accordingly to my source.

Pogostickstil - wie Dr. Schnaggels vielleicht? Oder vielleicht sieht es doch einfach uber hammer aus und die ganze Miniatur wird Sinn machen. Denn wenn ich ehrlich bin, kann ich mir keine Figur mit Schwert als Bein als eine ernsthafte Miniatur vorstellen, es sei denn man sieht die ganzen offenen Wunden am Bein usw.

Now on a more positive note, I got a better images of the Executioners. The Executioner champ is armed with an axe and is holding the decapitated head of a High Elf. Pretty dang cool.

It does not appear that any of the banners have designs sculpted onto them. The pictures we have of the warriors show 2 regiments, one armed with swords and shields and one armed with spears and shield. Our source tell us that they will make crossbows but we don't have a picture of them. I really hope GW has finally realized that the models that form the core of an army should not be old and look like garbage. It would have been nice if they had realized this when they did High Elves.

For the Scroungerunner charoit the crew look similar to Corsairs. The passenger shooting the crossbow/boltthrower has what appears to be a sea dragon cloak on. There are reins but they look like just normal black leather. The horses look awesome and angry. Both are black in color with red eyes. The chariot only has one wheel that is centered on the back part. Sounds stupid, looks cool. And as usual nasty spikes and blades al

You have to clear your head of any preconceived notions of what a Kraken is or looks like. Because lets face it, an 8 legged octopus creature flopping around on land would just not look right. It has 4 limbs that end in webbed feet with claws on them. It also has 5 heads. The main head has beady little eyes right above the mouth. The lower jaw on the main head extends kind of like an octopus tentacle but with teeth on it. The other heads end in an mouth with teeth and 4 claws around the head that look to facilitate grabbing their next meal.
