Das ist natürlich das "Betriebsgeheimnis" der Gerüchtestreuer. 😀
Nach eigenen Angaben haben die meisten davon einen direkten Draht zu jemandem im GW-Hauptquartier (oder arbeiten selbst dort).

Darüber wie solche Gerüchte rauskommen kann man natürlich trefflich spekulieren, aber ich gebe mal als Denkanstoß, das es durchaus im Sinne von GW sein kann, wenn die Communities weltweit über die kommenden Releases tratschen. 😉

Ich habe die Hoffnung nach dem Summer of Flyers Flop aufgegeben, dass für diese Edition oder gar für diesen Codex noch was für die Tyraniden erscheint.

Fürn Umbau schon okay, aber zum GD würd ich mich damit nicht anmelden und dass es kein neues offizielles Modell ist sollte von der Qualität her schon ersichtlich sein.

There are rumors abound that Tyranids will be getting some new releases at some point in the near future. So today I included a bunch of small snippets of rumor information that has been floating around for the last week or so. I really hope that tyranids will be getting a good release of models very soon.

As for Chapterhouse, they kind of filled a niche that GW was taking far too long to release. Perhaps this was the result of their lawsuit, and the cause of a hold on the release of further tyranid models. Of course this is speculation by myself. I am no expert in the law, just using some logic.

I hope to see some tyranid models, as tyranids seem to be the latest shop talk I have been discussing. Wouldn't that be a great way to start the new year?

According to his contact in WD contact there is going to be a Tyranid update in the magazine similar to the Vampire Count one that happened recently. There will be a new unit included in the issue that is designed to fill gaps in the current codex, with the rules being written by Phil Kelly.

Unfortunately GW were unable to release their Tervigon kit (see my other comments elsewhere) as they had intended and so are having to make do with a White Dwarf bolt on.
Essentially the WD rules will be a Tervigon and something else, and the kit will make both models, a bit like the new Ogre Kingdoms monsters.
At least this is what I have been told, don't know if it's true or not.
There may also be another much larger Tyranid kit coming out too.....

In terms of US copyright a concept or idea cannot be copyrighted, so the idea of a Doom of Malantai model, or a Tervigon, or a jetbike seer council weren't protected until the models were released.

When Chapterhouse beat GW to it by making these models it appeared it may affect future GW releases and on legal advice GW held back some of their releases until they could prove unequivecally that they had total ownership.

Interessant, gut möglich, aber nicht wünschenswert.

Wir brauchen nicht NOCH mehr neue Kreaturen, wir brauchen einfach vernünftige Regeln für bereits vorhandene(Pyro,Carni,Lictor, Absorber) und fehlende Modelle(TERVIGON!!!).

Nach dem was die Sisters im WD so bekommen haben, bin ich skeptisch, obwohl Phil Kelly sicherlich weiß, was er da macht, im Gegensatz zu RC.

Da hast Du recht...
Aber besser überhaupt mal Aufmerksamkeit nach über 1 1/2 Jahren als garnichts. Außerdem kennen wir ja die Poitik von GW: Niemals zugeben dass man Müll gemacht hat.
Also kann man eher mit einer neuen Kreatur rechnen als mit einer Überarbeiten von Einheitenregeln.

Btw: Die geposteten Gerüchte könnten vieles bedeuten, eben auch das lang erhoffte Tervigon/T-Fex Kit.

Ich hätte nichts gegen einen Horvagon oder einer Symbionten-Queen einzuwenden ^_^ (letzteres vllt aus Fluffiger Sicht schon)

Ein Tervigon der 3W6 Hormaganten oder Symbs pro Runde pufft und auch noch Boni verleiht :geil:


Mal schauen was GW sich sonst noch so ausdenkt :shifty:

Aber ich scheue mich jetzt scho was zu kaufen, was sowieso scho viel zu spät und unnütz ist. Da bleibe ich lieber für dieses Jahr bei meinen Minotaurs und im nächsten Jahr mache ich in Ruhe meine anderen Armeen zu Ende. 😛aint:
