Ja, nur musste ich warten bis mein Netz wieder mitspielen mag.
🙁
So hier bittesehr, die gesammelten Sachen von Ogrestronghold:
With the old topic starting to get a bit lengthy, with random tidbits and wishlisting thrown all over the place, I thought it'd be a good idea to start afresh now that stuff is starting to flow in from a variety of reliable sources.

Release date:
August's White Dwarf has confirmed Warhammer Armies: Ogre Kingdoms for release in September.
Author:
August's White Dwarf has confirmed Warhammer Armies: Ogre Kingdoms is a joint work by Jeremy Vetock and Jervis Johnson.
Harry: No Mammoth, but a possibility of a Warhammery-Mammoth-Monstery thing. Two plastic kits, one with three cavalry of some description (Rhinox Riders? Cat riders?) and the other with a Scraplauncher and a 'wagon load of trouble'. New character models. Plenty of 'cheesy' gribblies.
Avian: Gut Magic is highly likely to become much more similar to a standardised lore.
Ghost21: Plenty of odd weapon options, including some from the old DoW.
Darnok, via a birdy:
Quote
Ogres gain resilience through improved save, not sure if its a 6+ scaly skin or a 6+ regen. Fluff has to do with their layers of fat/gut
Ogre magic augment spells will no longer be remains in play, expect magic to be in line with all other lores, butchers/slaugthermasters may loose loremaster
Ogre ironguts go to strength 5, will have option to take a great weapon or a cls
Rhinox riders are in the list officially
Maneaters may gain the ability to improve their stats to reflect their worldly experience, unit may choose one: +1 bs, +1 ws, +1T or terror.
Leadbelchers receive normal cannons, move or fire. So can shoot normal cannon ball (D3 wounds) or grapeshot.
Restrictions for gnoblars and scraplaunchers are gone
Bignames no longer count towards magic item allowance
Zsouless, via someone he didn't sculpt out of greenstuff:

Ogres will be coming soon, they've got a VERY heavy plastic cav as well as what I can only describe as being between a chaos war mammoth and a bantha from star wars! which IIRC can be loaded out in 3 or 4 different ways (char mount, large cannon, multiple leadbelcher cannons etc.) IIRC there's also a plastic character kit (butchers & tyrants I think.
He's also a little skeptical of big cat cavalry. According to his sources there's also some other beasties for the Hunter's menagerie.
Difisher from a 'well-informed' source, which Harry has cryptically thrown a bit of weight behind in his own riddlesome way:
Quote
Our new Cav will be (MASSIVE) cat-based - so I'm guessing some sort of sabertusk cav.
We definitely have a cannon-based scraplauncher variant.
Our new wizard is a fire-eater - therefore access to lore of fire.
New plastic characters.
Games Day releases.

I heard today from a good source that they will be releasing the Braugh Slavelord model that was exclusive to GW managers in finecast and apparently GW are aiming to have the new Ogre's be the first non metal army and only consist of plastic and finecast.

I have been told from a very reliable source that the Ogres will be getting a BIG buffalo as the big monster, very shaggy looking and big curly horns, apparently it is about the same size as Arachnok/ Screaming Bell.
Fantasyfreak's source tells us this: Quote
'It's a Tyrant (or looks like one) on a huge Rhinox'
He mentioned that he's not sure if they intend to change the style of Ogres a little, because this chap looked very feral and had 'battle damage' like he'd been fighting for a looong time, same with the Rhinox.
This very much sounds like it could be Jhared the Red, who, according to Zephyr on other forums, rides a Rhinox.
A chap from one of TobiOgre's German forums asked his local independent about the current lack of Ironguts on the shelves. The indy then went and asked GW and this is the answer he got:
Quote
There are going to be new versions of Ironguts and the older ones are not produced anymore.
This could mean entirely new models (a bit unlikely IMO) or a repackaging, perhaps with new weapon options and frills on the frames (Cathayan Longswords, perhaps?).
From Jambodini, who in turn got them from someone on 'Seer: Quote
Chiming in - I've heard of new miniatures for the butcher (unless its renamed) and possibly the hunter (unless its a new 'feral' type unit. The butcher is apparantly 'disgusting' and 'cannabalistic' - and plastic! They can also take rulebook lores (no idea on how many). Apparantly, there is also a mechanism of upgrading characters (like big names) in the book still.
After a bit of winking and hinting, Eastern Barbarian has decided to put together a complete list of what he's heard on The Warhammer Forum, though Avian's since pooh-poohed them:Quote
authors: vettock and jervis johnson
4 special characters
tyrants and slaughtermasters going up by ppoints, especially SM (apparenmtly very significant raise)
heroes go down in points
new hero character , magic user "priest" with lore of fire
troops go down in points, only one gnoblar option with a unit upgrade that makes them dangerous to be charged
bull costs 5 men with swords
maneaters go to specials and down in points (apparently quite significantly as well)
scraplauncher goes down in points and goes to rares
some sort of gun will be available as well, not sure if special or rare
more shooting options in general for ogres
hunter will be improved
sabretusks can be taken as a unit
heavy cavalry available (that is NOT rhinox), apparently really good
ogres in general will have quite devastating charges (i dont mean as a "devastating charge" rule though- didnt hear anything about that)
big monster, arachnarok size base, two options, one really good in CC and one more shooty, apparently they will be pretty hard to kill with artillery but don't know what it means practically rulewise (good ward save perhaps? only guessing here) and can be used as a character mount (don't know which character for, some people mentioned hunter but that is not info from my source)
not many magical items, one of them is a banner that is good in CC.
big names stay...
miscast table gone
Though it might not be terribly indicative, and it lacks some special rules, the Slave Ogre for one of the Chaos Dwarf warmachines in Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos costs only 10 Gnoblars and has the stats of a Bull.
