Hello guys,

Some news from Kikasstou on the french warhammer forum:

For Black Templars:

They'll be in the Psychic Awakening Tome 2 against Chaos. You'll have all the rules to play them and with some extra: enhanced doctrine, BT litany table, new warlord traits, relics and stratagems. No primaris Hellbrecht or Grimaldus but some rule change.

- For 1 CP the turn when you disembark from your crusader LR: no overwatch and -1 to hit in close combat.

- New relic: 4++ within 3" for 1 round.

- New warlord trait: +1 advance and charge.

- New Stratagem: on 2+, you can't disengage from close combat.

Some news for Blood Angels players:

They'll be in the Psychic Awakening Tome 3 against Tyranids. (Not before Spring)

From the french forum (grain of salt guys):
- Super doctrine as stated +1 dmg vs vehicles and buildings) we already knew this one)
- Psychic powers not crazy and a few geared towards buildings (lol..)
- 1CP strat that all intercessors can throw/launch a grenade
- Other strats geared towards anti tank but nothing concrete.

I guess I should start ordering some black paint 😀

Er meint Imperial Fists?

From Kikasstou on the french warhammer forum:

About imperial fists:

Doctrine is +1D with heavy weapons when devastator doctrine is active.

1 CP: each member of an intercessor squad can launch a grenade.

Psychic table doesn't seems very interesting with a lot of powers against buildings. A lot of stratagems to reinforce your antitank capabilities but nothing really concrete.

Er hatte in der Vergangenheit schon mal gute Infos, da könnte was dran sein.
von einem Ladenbesitzer, der entweder gut raten kann oder selber gute Quellen innerhalb der Firma hat.

und aus dem selben Forum:

I was chatting to a GW employee who had little more than speculation to offer in terms of supplement/rules release. We chatted about his own old BT army ("80 angry chainswords") before he seemed to be recalling something and said "of course there's some great releases coming in next year which will make you very happy - they're basically *made* for Templars... but I can't really talk about that yet."

What does it mean? Maybe nothing, but it could also be suggesting a melee option for Primaris, particularly something that he thought about while discussing large chainsword wielding crusader squads.

Epic levels of salt with this one of course, but I post it now because if this is indeed a generic Primaris model release next year, then I may need to temper my expectations for BT models in PA2... maybe rules only are looking more likely at this stage.

Leaks aus dem Video:
First up, there's Crimson Fist information in this book but no Black Templars. That lends credence to the rumours of PA Book 2, which in turn cascades to the likelihood that the rumours for Book 3 being BA and Book 4 is SW are correct.

Doctrine - While you are in the Devastator Doctrine, heavy weapons gain +1 damage against VEHICLES and BUILDINGS.

Imperial Fist Warlord Traits:

Fleet Master: free orbital bombardment, but requires a stationary warlord that takes no action and can only be used once per game. Doesn't suggest it is exclusive, so that suggests it can stack with the Stratagem and the Impulsor upgrade.

Stubborn Heroism - Warlord can never fall back, but when resolving an attack against this Warlord halve any damage (rounding up).

Crimson Fist Warlord Traits:

Refuse to Die from the WD article. When destroyed, roll a D6, on a 4+ you return this Warlord as close as possible to its original location with D3 wounds remaining.

Stratagems:

Bitter Enemy - 1CP - re-roll hit and wound rolls in the Fight phase against Iron Warriors.

Bolter Drill - 2CP - same as the Chapter Tactic i.e. additional hit on an unmodified hit roll of 6. Looks likely to stack with the Chapter Tactic.

Bolster Defense - 1CP - One Imperial Fist Infantry unit entirely on or within a terrain feature. As long as it remains stationary, add 1 to saving throw. Does not affect invulnerable saves.

Pain is a Lesson - 1CP - 6+ FNP shared earlier.

Praetorian's Wrath - 2CP - The IF equivalent to all the +1 AP when you make an unmodified wound roll of 6 for the Chapter's preferred weapon from the other supplements. Heavy/grenade weapons in Devastator.

Psychic Powers:

Fortify - WC4 - Imperial Fist Infantry or Biker model regains D3 wounds. Seems IF are starting to look like Infantry are superior to vehicles for their purposes.

Iron Inferno - WC6 - 1 point within 18'' and visible, roll a D6 for each enemy unit within 6''. On a 4+ they suffer 1 mortal wound. Basically a psychic orbital bombardment.

Relics:

Spartean is included.

Banner of Stangangangnanagnda - When resolving an attack made with a melee weapon by a model in an Imperial Fist unit that is within 6'' of the relic holder, add 1 to the hit roll.

Eye of Hypnoth - exactly like it was in Vigilus i.e. Lieutenant buff for the wearer (re-roll 1s to wound).
