Wow, wer hätte das gedacht?
Die Fraktion des Chaos ist nicht mehr Vorbestellerbonus für das Fantasy-Strategiespiel Total War: Warhammer. Das teilen Sega und Creative Assembly offiziell via Twitter mit. Stattdessen gibt es nun ein anderes Modell: Die Armee des Chaos ist für Käufer kostenlos, die Total War: Warhammer in der ersten Woche kaufen. Damit können Fans zumindest erste Tests und Videos bezüglich der Qualität und Technik abwarten, Early Adopter werden dennoch belohnt.

Damit sich das Battlefleet "Debakel" nicht wiederholt, CA weist ganz klar auf folgendes hin
We’d like to announce that the Chaos Warriors Race pack will now be offered free to players who purchase Total War: WARHAMMER in the first week on sale, as well as if you pre-order.
By extending the free period deadline by a week past launch, we can make sure more people who don’t feel like pre-ordering don’t miss out.
But at the same time we still get to reward early adopters, who’s support is so valuable to us.

Retailers who are currently supporting the pre-order will continue offering the DLC for free into the first week, with the free period coming to an end at 18:00 BST on the 31st May.

What’s a ‘participating retailer’? Any retailer that is already offering the Chaos Warriors Race Pack as a Pre-order will also be making it available for free to people who buy the game during the first week on sale. You should always check with your preferred retailer to make sure though.

Also Augen auf ob der Shop (oder Keyseller) wo man kauft auch wirklich den DLC anbietet. Und dann am besten noch einmal doppelt absichern 😉
Bei GMG war z.b. ja bei BFG zeitweise auch der "Early adopter" Schriftzug auf der Seite. Und dann später nicht mehr, weshalb GMG Käufer entweder ihr Spiel umtauschen konnten oder halt ohne die 2 extra Flotten leben mussten.

Breaking News: Total Warhammer WIRD Mod Support & Steam Workshop beinhalten! Assembly Kit irgendwann nach Launch.
In addition, we will be offering dev team support to modders Dresden and Magnar, who are working on two specific mods and aiming to release them at launch of the tool kit being available.
Magnar is designing a Legendary Lord Start Position Mod; customising start positions so that Legendary Lords will start in different locations from Race Leaders.
Dresden is engineering a Regional Occupation Mod; altering the settlement rules to enable each race to settle every region.

naja, Release ist doch eh erst am 24.05., also in 5 Tagen. Der 19.5. steht bei mir auch, hab aber auch noch keine weitere Benachrichtigung bekommen. Keine Ahnung, ob das ein Fehler ist oder ob sie wirklich heute noch die Keys rausschicken, aber in jedem Fall kann man damit im Moment eh noch nicht allzu viel anfangen. Selbst für Preload bei miserabler Leitung sollten 5 Tage reichen 😉
