It shows the spectacular scripted battle, using pre-alpha game code, that formed the basis for this year’s Total War: WARHAMMER E3 press demo, in full and unedited.
The demo depicts a mighty clash between the forces of the Empire led by Emperor Karl Franz and a Greenskin horde led by Orc Warboss Grimgor Ironhide. The in-game capture, accompanied by developer commentary, offers an early glimpse at some of the fantastical battlefield units, spells, war machines, and monstrous creatures that will appear in the final game. The Battle of Black Fire Pass will feature in Total War: WARHAMMER as a Quest Battle, available specifically to Karl Franz, and is just one of the many unique missions you can undertake as you progress through the Grand Campaign.
So what are you waiting for? Dive into the action and have a look at what Total War: WARHAMMER has in store for you!
http://forums.totalwar.com/showthread.php/161396-Gamescon-interview-new-info?So I saw a link to the French transcript of Andy Hall's interview on total war center. Here is a rough translation of the newish info :
We will get all 16 factions eventually.
He said that "there will be no possible modding in TW:WH" because of the licence, he compared it to the Star wars licence (maybe the fact that Battlefield 3 isn't moddable ?).
This is the biggest total war to date (just talking about the first game !).
They still don't know when the next games will be released, and they are really focusing on the first one right now.
One of the quest battles will involve dealing with necromancers before they resurrect a dragon.
The first 10 hours of gameplay will be structured, with heavy storytelling. This feature is new to total war and will be called the "prelude". You will start with only 3 units and an advisor.
IA is very important in TW and their teams are working as we speak on making the races not only clever but faithful to the warhammer universe.
Attila, their last game, was mostly exempt of bugs and that's the goal for TW:WH. He acknoweldges it might not be 100% bug free because of the complexity of TW games compared to FPS games for exemple, but their development process has been enhanced to achieve this.

There are no plans for a console version at this time.
http://forums.totalwar.com/showthread.php/161806-High-King-Thorgrim-Grudgebearer-Biography?Thorgrim Grudgebearer, High King and leader of the Dwarfs. Thorgrim Grudgebearer is the current High King of the Dwarfs. He is a throwback to the High Kings of old - eager for new conquests, mighty in battle, and a merciless enemy. Yet upon his worn brow, there also sits a great wisdom, and he is able to uphold the ancient traditions as well as to accept (if not embrace) needed changes, such as alliances and new technology. Thorgrim is forever brooding upon how to return his people to their former glory. As the ultimate ruler of the Dwarfs, the Great Book of Grudges is entrusted into his keeping. It is Thorgrim's avowed wish to avenge every single entry contained in that voluminous tome - an impossible task if he should live a thousand lifetimes. Yet such is his resolve that he has already helped to rejuvenate the whole of the Karaz Ankor. Tales of his deeds, and the long list of grudges already struck out, fill his grim warriors with a feeling that the Dwarfs have long done without: hope. Borne upon the Throne of Power and brandishing the Axe of Grimnir, Thorgrim is at the forefront of what the Dwarfs hope will be a great conquering - a new age of retribution has begun.
Nett, aber springende Zwerge? Das finde ich etwas merkwürdig.
A first look at underground battles in Total War Warhammer!
If you’re attending EGX later in September, you’ll be able to experience the Dwarfs for yourself and go hands-on with the world-first playable subterranean Quest Battle, ‘Ambush at The Thundering Falls’.
