Captain citadels discription of the bloodthirster is pretty much what I have been told about it, multiple head and weapon options and leaping of the base on flames and the names of the khorne units are what I have heard also.

I am not sure if Skarbrand will dual kit with the bloodthirster, no one has told me this is happening just that there will be a bloodthirster model and Skarbrand will be coming at some time also.

So, Baustein eins für die Zeit nach Endtimes habe ich bestellt. Echsenmenschen aufm Weg. Ein Slann extra wäre noch schön.
Als nächstes dann Dunkelelfen - oder Tiermenschen oder Oger?

Bin mal auf die Blutdämonen gespannt. Dämonen fehlen mir zwar noch recht komplett, aber dank 40k bin ich da recht entspant. Die wird es noch eine Weile geben.

Guys I come bearing some good news from my sources.

Lizardmen will still be around in the next edition in some form. They are not going to be squatted out of the game from what my contact has seen.
He couldn't confirm that they will be a separate faction as he isn't privy to that information, only that they will still feature as usable figures and they may even get new stuff.

This is genuine stuff straight from my source at the company (not a redshirt).

Yeah I have a few other snippets of news but that was the main thing I thought people should know.

People should be preparing for a lot of

moments though. This is going to be the marmite edition of Fantasy.

At the moment it would put my 2 sources in danger so I can't.

Suffice to say that some people will be pleasantly surprised. For others the sky will be falling.

I haven't heard anything about Bretonnians at all I'm afraid and Harry seemed to think they were going the way of the Dodo so I would hazard a guess that they will be merged with another army or removed entirely.

Also as always take these rumours with a good dose of salt. I only pass on what I hear and things do change at GW quite a lot. There's many a sweet mini been minced for not fitting in at GW.

I don't know about dwarfs. My source hasn't said they are gone though and I did ask if he knew of any armies that would be squated. It's more likely they will be combined with the humans I think.

Do you guys like dragons?

If you are a fan of smaller units with lots of character and artistic flair then you are going to be pretty happy. From what I've heard, the heavily armoured knights (our would be fantasy marines) will be like units of mini heroes.

It's not Drachenfels but that wasn't a bad guess at all...

Now, what are your opinions on silver towers?

Round bases are in. Whether they are mixed with squares as well I couldn't say.

GW wird wie schon erwähnt nicht ein Banner auf der Webseite schalten auf dem sie verkünden "Euren Armeen sind nicht mehr spielbar! Basta!" sondern deren Produktpalette nicht mehr erweitern und die bisherigen Modelle kommentarlos reduzieren wie sie es mit FC Modellen und Büchern und anderen Produkten bereits seit Jahren machen. Die verschwinden dann Box für Box aus dem Sortiment. Nicht anders lief es mit Squats, Chaos Zwergen, Söldnern und den Specialist Games
