Der Schwarm ist ein wenig gewachsen und ich habe ein paar weitere Erfahrungen gesammelt 🙂.

Ostern ist mal wieder ein Spiel gegen AM oder Chaos geplant.

Tyrannofex in Kapsel, erste Runde recht defensiv. Sobald Fex runter geht und die 4 Flieger vorne sind, geht es dann in die Offensive. Durch die 4 Flieger habe ich nicht sooo viel Bodenpower, müsste im Zweifel wohl ab ~Runde 3-4 mit den Fliegern bei den Missionszielen unterstützen (in der Hoffnung, dass ich bis dahin genug von Ihm raus genommen habe).

Gelände stelle ich endlich mal selber, recht viele große Ruinen.

Uh oO das kann ich nicht beantworten, ich hab noch nie einen Alpha gespielt, tut mir leid, aber bestimmt wird dir jemand mit mehr Erfahrung das beantworten. 🙂
Weil es Punkttechnisch in der nähe ist, könntest du dir auch einen Trupp aus drei Absorberbases mit Knarren und Schocken überlegen ^^

Hm, dann hätte ich aber nur einen Tervigon und zwei fliegende Tyranten als Synapse... Also effektiv nur eine Synapse hinten. Ist das nicht ein wenig sehr dünn?

Hatte den Alpha z.B. gegen die Blood Angels in den 30 Ganten vom Tervi. War eine recht stabile Synapse (Mass Kapsel Flamer brutzeln 30 Ganten halt auch mal eben weg), BA wollen eh in den Nahkampf. Daher hat es da halbwegs funktioniert. Zumindest hat der Trupp heftig Beschuss aufgesaugt. Andererseits werden die Ganten so weniger zum Wegwerftrupp.

Plan / thougts


  • Tirannofex in Tyrannocyte
  • Tyranid Prime in one of the 19 gant troups
  • Depending on set up: 1-2 Lictors on field
  • Focus: Objective grabbing
  • Termagants as shield, 2 kind of independent blops with venom, gants, Carnifex and one synaps each
  • First turn conservative and using additional cover
  • Turn 2 Flyers @ front, hopefully TFex comes down, everything moves forward
  • Lictors as distraction and target overload (there will be a lot of ruins on the map, therefor they start with 3+ cover saves). Maybe they can get some nice hits on Tanks or grab an objective or two, help the tyrannocyte find it's sweet spot or land the rippers right on the objective.



Had the Game yesterday. It was a pretty decent game for the hivemind 🙂.

List as posted above but with 2 Zoans and one less Lictors.

He had 3x Artillery behind aegis with flak (anti air tower), some space wolf terminators with psi weapons, one flyer with 3x sync lascannon, 2 leman Russ and several groups with mass plasma canons and 2 transports. Had an Easter setting and fought for the Egg of the emperor.

One Lictor did nothing but the other one was very convincing. Venomthropes were the stars of the game, he had problems with taking out even gaunts. Nothing serious died on my side during the two first turns, just some health points.

But the plan worked pretty well, except for the Lictors. 2 were too less for distraction and line of sight prevented them from coming in too far on the front. Hive crone did almost nothing. Carnis and Flyrants did the major part of the damage. One of the Termagant groups took care of the terminators for 3 Rounds and killed even two. The other one hold the imperial egg and had some very nice cc action with the prime and another Lictor. Zoans were just synapse, psi did nothing relevant.
