Die Skull Cannon/Blood Throne of Khorne ist das schlechteste Modell, was ich seit den WHFB-Salamandern jemals von GW gesehen habe. So was Lächerliches. Khorne sollte massiv sein, gewaltig, furchteinflößend. Das hier ist einfach nur arm. -.-

Und beim Burning Chariot of Tzeentch fühle ich mich immer unweigerlich an Sponge Bob erinnert. Irgendwas mit Unterwasserwelt und Rochen und Algen und bunten kleinen Quallen... Vielleicht liegt´s nur an der Bemalung aber das Foto verheißt nichts Gutes.

Gut gefallen mir eigentlich nur die Plague Drones (aber bitte ohne Reiter) und die drei Herolde.

Aber diese Skull Cannon? Komm ich immer noch nicht drüber, wie negativ hässlich die ist...:huh:

Ich glaub ich muss die Unterwäsche wechseln. Also die der Codex ist ja vom Artwork mal der echte Hammer, da bietet es sich fast an noch 2 rote LED's in die Augen von dem Khorne Zerfleischer zu bauen. Und die Streitmachtbox, wenn sie nicht 100 € kostet ist ja auch mal nett, vor allem das von allen Göttern was dabei ist. (der Wert jeder Einheit sei mal dahingestellt)

That 40k artwork is fantastic and that battleforce is one of few boxes in recent times that remotely resembles a decent-sized starting army.

    ^This. £15 for the Khorne Herald, £30 for the new codex, and £70 (I think) for the battleforce. A decent sized starting army for less than £150? Good God, what is this?
    Games Workshop, I congratulate you on making something appealing price wise. I don't think I've ever said that before.

    Very proud of GW on this one. That not only looks like a good sized army, but depending on the new rules, a balanced one.

Die Autoren

One of the big mysteries right now, is who is the author of the books? Well I wish I had a more definitive answer, but I received this email in the Faeit 212 inbox this evening.

His conclusions after reading his White Dwarf.....
Chaos Daemons (40k)- Phil Kelly
Daemons of Chaos (Fantasy)- Matt Ward


Here is his email, and hopefully we get something a little more concrete in the next day or so.

I saw some people in the responses wondering about authors. I have the White Dwarf in front of me and Phil Kelly is mentioned as the designer of the Codex, and it isn’t explicitly stated but it seems like Mat Ward is the author of the Fantasy Army Book(there is a section in the back talking about a map that’s included, and that Mat took “a lot of inspiration from Liber Malefic.”

Ich hoffe Phil Kelly hats bei 40k richtig gemacht, so wie bei den Chaos Space Marines. Soll ja nen durchwachsener Dex sein.

Ich kenne sonst nix von Matt Ward, was neu raus gekommen ist. Ich hoffe nur er hats net verkackt. Wäre sonst das zweite Hardcover-Armeebuch für mich welches für den Arsch ist. (Khemri war das Erste)

Das würde heissen, dass auch Matt Ward den Codex geschrieben hat (obwohl der Name falsch geschrieben ist? kann dann natürlich nen fake sein)
