Ich muss sagen: Guilliman sehr unimposant. Ordinatus ziemlich klein und unimposant (sieht fast fanmade aus, falls noch WIP hab ich nichts gesagt). Warlord sieht super aus aber kommt mir ein bisschen sehr klein vor. Sigismund sieht bis auf die verbogene Klinge gut aus 🙂wub🙂. Schädelherrscher sehr geil. Chaos Knight ebenfalls sehr geil.

Warlord Titan / Horus Heresy - Book V

Just got back from the Open Day, picked up the new command tanks and the picture below is the upgrade sprue that is included in the box along with a standard LR and Rhino.

I spent a long time talking to the FW team about the build of the Warlord including future plans, even got to see the GW style build instructions (full colour booklet) for it. The build is best as a two man job due to the size and weight of the model, its about 7kg of resin, all on a handful of joints. As I took my tape measure and got the FW team to measure it, I know the Warlord is ~23" to the top most point and ~20" to the top of the carapace, 17" across, 17" front to back of the weapon arms. Frankly it isn't tall enough over the Reaver for the extra money but it is considerably larger in bulk. The head as two areas of internal detail but no internal detail inside the main carapace despite there being a large empty space, this was done to 1) reduce cost and 2) improve the rigidity of the model.

Weapon swaps for the Warlord are going to be very painful, you are either going to have to leave off the pistons for the arms or do a complicated join under a big shield on the arm, there is no easy way to do the swap. Obviously they have a full range of weapons planned, starting with the Reaver missile launcher first up. Oh, and an alternate, Warhammer World only, Warlord head. They also have Mechanicum and Chaos versions planned, Chaos first, but nobody has started working on it yet. I'm going to wait for the Chaos version.

Also some significant changes for Titans

All patterns:
- never blocked in assault
- immune to haywire, dangerous terrain, psychic attacks other than whichfire

Reaver and Warlord:
- can only be hit on 6 during assault by infantry and monstrous creatures and 5-6 by sup-heavy walkers
Warlord only:
- stomp attack with 5'' blast

Auszüge Armeelisten in Horus Heresy Book V - Tempest

regarding the Damocles Command Rhino:

any legion can take one as a non-complusory HQ choice in games of over 1k. Ultramarines may also take a second one as a dedicated transport for a master of signals
damocles has its own orbital bombardment, which is TL, and has lance
it also gives a 24" bubble in which friendly units don't scatter when deep striking, also confers you the choice to +1 or -1 from your reserve rolls, enemy models suffer a -1 on the deep strike mishap table if the damocles is anywhere on the board.


regarding the Militia List and some fluff questions:

the legio suturvora are listed as WB allied titan legion and have no linked Knight houses, their scheme is gold trim, black panels with orange flames on all panels (like a reverse tiger eyes but dark orange instead of yellow)
no new rite of war for WB
thunderbolt and heavy ordnance artillery are in, as are rapiers
regular malcador is in (valdor and infernus out), leman russes are all in Heavy support but loss the volkite and plasma turrets, can take heavy bolters or heavy flamer sponsons

I asked AB about this and he said it was certainly a possibility as this list is there to represent the "typical" Imperial Army forces as opposed to the more elite Solar Auxilia. By using this list, you are able to create everything from black powder musket wielding hordes of 50 man units, more heavily armoured units of 20 with the lasgun that we are used to from 40k through to hordes of mutants. You can even create abhuman units with detonator collars. The list shows that at this stage of the Imperiums history, the Imperial Army is still formed from indentured units from Compliant worlds - they haven't been formed into the autonomous Imperial Guard with unified equipment, arms and vehicles. At this stage, the IA is formed from whatever the Imperium has available as they are not the "cutting edge" of the Great Crusade: that is the remit of the Astartes and the Solar Auxilia.

It was also mentioned that this is a modelllers dream as it provides you with a "toolkit" to create whatever style of Imperial Army force you want. You could run beastmen models with rifles, old Necromunda gangers, Cadian Shocktroops, Catachan jungle fighters, the FW range of Chaos cultists - pretty much whatever you want. Even Fantasy Imperial troops may be used as black powder weapons are part of the list.

Weapons range from (as mentioned above), black powder through to lasguns, autoguns etc. All the low-tech equipment that is clearly inferior to the Astartes and the SA but then, throw enough mud at something and some of it will stick. The IA list will kill just through sheer rate of dice being thrown at the opposing force. Sure, you won't have much left by the time Astartes have finished with you but for each Astartes, you probably have 3-5 Milita.

by taking a force commander, you can purchase 0-2 'provenances' each acting like a rite of war, pretty much all non-vehicle models in the list are affected. the provenances cost between 35-100pts.

- all units gain +1 toughness but have -1 initiative

Horus Heresy Dark Angels

Formosa im DakkaDakka Forum (nicht bekannt für Gerüchte aber als User) über HH Dark Angels:

This is the first rumour I'm happy to go on the tracker about, I spoke to my mate whom works at forge world (in a prominent well known position) and the person has informed me that dark angels are now being worked on, they have had a brief about how they want the dark angels to behave, and are hashing out the pre lion el jonson fluff, this ive been told will be more extensive than any of the other pre primarch fluff as I was told it is key to the events that happen during and after the heresy, I asked what units to expect and they stated that nothing solid has been nailed down just yet, but throwing around names such as deathwing paladins, doom knights (not a clue what this could be) and several others, I personally don't know how long development takes but this is exciting to me.

Falls es wen interessiert:

I can't remember the all the rules but here goes. Ordinatus has two different variations, the one they had at forge world was like a huge sonic boom gun. You place the 7inch large blast template touching the front of the Ordinatus (45 degree ark) and it travels 75inch forward. There was a chart that showed what the strength of the hit for the type of unit it hit. All I remember was strength 5 for infantry and the bigger the target the more powerful the hit. D for gargantuan creatures and so on. Also ignore cover, pinning, concussion, was more but I forget

The other version i think was a belicosa pattern volcano cannon.
Armour 14 up front think 13 on the sides, 14 hp ( super heavy)

Had a strange shield against d weapon attacks, -3 on the d chart on the first turn -2 on the 2nd turn and so on.

Sorry for not getting more but I was abit excited when I so the book there

Also the book contain like legion rules for legio cybanetica, and the ordo reductor.

The guy said they will be releasing the book a soon as it arrives from China. So very soon. Next new release I guess, and the Ordinatus he said hopefully September.

Hi All,
just a few notes from FW open day. Might already be up here (haven't read the whole thread.)
I was a bit tired from getting up at 5AM and driving for 4 hours so if you have better info please let me know so I can update this. Otherwise we will see misinformation flashing up on Bols and elsewhere confusing people.

If someone wants to put this in the first thread or elsewhere for reference, please do.

HH Rules. One of the 3 writers (not Alan) told me that when they get round to updating the HH crusade army list book they may well adjust some points costs and or stats for certain models and are aware that some of the units from HH bk1 are overpriced relative to similar models with newer rules. No mention of when this might be. I had a chat with the guy who owned the EC and made mention of EC Palatine blades, Phoenix terms and SoH Justaerin.

Stormbird This is about a month away from completion before it can be sent to the factory to be approved for production. Its about 2x the size of the Thunderhawk so I guess it will be about twice the price!! The designer said it may be released around September. One for the Xmas tree!!

EidolonDidn't speak to the sculptor but looked very nearly finished. Sports long hair with one side of his head shaved- like the trend in the last year or so. I can’t wait as was thinking about making one for myself. I'm guessing it will be released by September??

UM Invictus Suzerain I didn't speak to the sculptor but these looked done and ready for sale.

Raven Guard Mor Dethan Sculptor said that he started these a while ago but had to postpone them while he worked on the Chaos knight/ walker thing. He said they need a little more attention but should be complete in the next month. Will come with sniper ant shotguns ala the Recon squad- the combi weapons are already available.

Primarchs. Was advised that they hope to have the remaining 3 primarchs (Corax, Dorn and Alpharius) done by Xmas. Corax strongly hinted at being worked on. Ideas for Alpharius included a squad of 5 alpha Legionnaires...which is Alpharius!?

Mastodon looked nice and close to completion. Was larger than a Fellblade and nice interior detail/ detachable roof means will prob be £2-300. AA mount looked like an up-scaled rotor cannon, Pretty sure it wasn't a Khaeres assault cannon. Front weapon looked like a (slightly larger) version of the Magna melta from the Caestus assault Ram and Predator kits.

Mechanicum Army list had the FW Knights from Book 4 and the updated Titan rules as per book 5. Also included the ordinatus engines but didn't look any further than that. Ordinatus thing had 2 versions. One with Volcano cannon (not yet sculpted but shouldn't take long as can borrow from the titans) and the sonic one that you have seen in the pics.

Tau huge battlesuit, larger than a Knight. Probably the size of the smallest titans. Didn’t ask about it as not interested.

FW painting masterclass. About 3 or 4 of the sculptors had portfolios out to view that showed articles they have done for an upcoming FW HH specific painting book. Inc will be a mechanicum knight a solar auxilia vehicle (?) and a (Alpha?) Legion bit.

Alan Bligh & Book 6/7. I had the opportunity to speak to him for about 10 mins before the event closed. He confirmed that BK 6 will cover shattered legions. It will also cover basic legion rules for some outstanding legions – BA, DA, Scars and you have prob seen upgrade kits for these. They won’t get primarch/character/unique unit rules until their own books. I have just seen a post on Bols mentioning that Book 7 will be Prospero release for Xmas!!-surely book 6 will be xmas release and book 7 next Easter at best?? If Prospero is after book 6 I would have thought it would be one large book to fit in rule for wolves, 1K sons, custodies and sisters of silence which would push the DA/BA Thramas Crusade/ Signus book back abit.
Does anyone have more coherent info on the planned release schedule??

Legio Custodes/ Age of Sigmar. I told Alan that I had recently spent about 2 hours drafting rules for Legio Custodes and that the Age of Sigmar ‘Sigmarines’ would be good stand ins until FW sell some. BTW my rough idea was for 2 wounds, 2+/5+ and stats mainly at 5 across the board @ around 60/70 points. He didn’t give me any specifics on his rules but told me about a playtest he did of 5 standard Custodes being charged by 20 Iron Hands. No IH survived the 1st round of combat!! I think only one of the Custodes died in return. He said that he would love to do a Custodes list someday and models for Valdor etc

The Emperor & Horus. This got us onto the end of the series and potentially the scouring. They have done a few model dual diaromas now and Alan said he would love to do one for the final confrontation between the emperor & Horus fighting on the Vengeful Spirit (like the old diorama in the Warhammer world museum) with a dead Sanguinius in the background.

Ok Infos zu Book VI von Andy Hoare: (ich tippe mit dem Handy also verzeiht mir....)

Black Shields: Sind drin weil andy und alan für FFG gearbeitet haben wo der fluff für Black shields in 40k geschaffen wurde. Ähnlich wie in 40k sind sie sowas wie Freelancer. Sie haben ihrer legion (loyal und verräter) abgeschworen und kämpfen nun nur für sich und nicht für den E oder Horus.

WS DA und BA sind mit Legiones Astartes Regeln drin aber auch mit eigenem Wargear.

Shattered Legions: Regeln und Fluff kann auf alle 16 bisher erschienenen Legionen angewandt werden.

Es ist Mid War und die überlebenden von isstvaan immer noch auf der Flucht (= shattered). Horus hingegen spaltet auch von seinen Legionen kleine Gruppen ab die als Kopf Geld Jäger dieser loyalen jagen sollen (=shattered)

Die enthaltene Kampagne:
Es gibt kleine abgespaltene "shadow wars" die isoliert vom großen Konflikt sind. Das soll einem die möglichkeit geben mehrere Legionen in einer Liste zu spielen. Zu allen 16 Legionen gibt es mindestens einen Shadow war. Wie diese sich gegenseitig beeinflussen weiß ich jetzt nicht mehr aber es war ganz clever gemacht. Eventuell also eine gute Grundlage für künftige Forum Events!

Zu den fragen... Ich war noch nicht bei allen und mach gerade Pause aber...

Auxilia kommt mehr. Das Problem ist dass das Edgars kind war und der ist nun weg. Israel Gonzales arbeitet dich gerade in seine CAD Designs ein und in ein paar Monaten wird mehr kommen. Ob Kavallerie ist demnach unklar...

Habe mit Simon egan bestimmt 30 Min gesprochen über u.a. auch Plastik Häresie. Ja sie kommt , und nein es ist nicht aus gut. Schlecht: bei Plastik braucht man mehr Einzelteile (arme etc...) . Bei den basis Truppen ist das bei resin auch so aber bei charakteren kann man die teile aufwendiger machen mit mehr Details. Überall wo man kleben muss können keine Details sein. Für die basistrippen machts also keine unterschiede und das wird citafel wohl übernehmen. Aber dafür soll es viel mehr upgrade kits geben.

Apropos mark bedford design gerade 30k upgrades für 40k skitarii. Er hat noch keine freigabe vom Management aber er hofft er darf sie publizieren. 40k skitarii sind also so ohne weiteres Nicht kanon...
