After this, further hits strike the original target instead.
Whilst a building has a v oid shield, any hits scored by shooting attacks against the building, models embarked within it
or upon its battlements will instead hit the v oid shield. A v oid shield has an Armour Value of 1 2. A glancing or
penetrating hit (or any hit from a Destroy er weapon) scored against a v oid shield causes it to collapse. After this,
further hits strike the original target instead. At the end of each of the controlling play er’s turns, roll a dice for the
collapsed v oid shield; a roll of 5+ instantly restores it.
For the remainder of the battle after a vehicle’s quantum shielding deactivates, all subsequent hits against that vehicle (including hits made from subsequent shooting attacks in the same phase – either from a different weapon or a different unit – or hits made at a lower Initiative step in close combat) are treated as though the vehicle was not equipped with quantum shielding.
At the start of any friendly turn, the bearer can take a Leadership test. If the test is failed, nothing happens, but if the test if passed, choose the special rule from the list below. The bearer of the Relic, and his unit, gain that special rule until the start of their next turn.
