Er kommt ohne Punktekosten. Derzeitige Vermutung ist, daß er, ähnlich dem Imperial Space Marine zum 30. der einen beliebigen Marine ersetzt, anstelle eines normalen Captains gespielt wird. Eine Energiefaust und einmal im Spiel eine Doktrin wiederholen gibt es wohl gratis obendrauf.

Am Samstag, 11. Juni, gehen Start Collecting Boxen für Chaos Space Marines und Militarum Tempestus in die Vorbestellung. In der Woche drauf wird es wahrscheinlich etwas für Eldar geben (WD Teaser: "Way of the Eldar"). Vielleicht bekommen sie dann auch ein Set (Oder zwei? Harlequine?)

You probably already read the bits from Mauler over on natfka, if not here is the quote:

Der Plastik Dämonen Primarch Magnus the Red von GW wurde gerade von Sad Panda bestätigt. Außerdem wie schon erwähnt Plastik Thousand Sons für 40k und 30k im Verlauf des Jahres.

Übersicht Tzeentch-Releases: Magnus / Rubric Marines / Lord of Change (ab Herbst 2016)

Anyone still hyped about Tzeentch? Yes? Great. Here some snippets to avoid all possible confusions:

- Forgeworld will do the Prospero Magnus. In resin. Around Fall, for the Inferno release (as I think Russ may be ready for sale for the next Open Day). There are no "problems", Simon Egan just was afraid of both the horns on his chest and his face. He will be the largest Primarch. And of course FW will continue to produce the 30k Primarchs.

- GW will use the Daemon Primarchs for their ongoing storyline. Because that's the things that "are more interesting". You can use them for both 30k and 40k games, more people buy plastic models than resin. Magnus is finished. But please don't expect all 5/6 Daemon Primarchs tomorrow lol.

- GW already did them (Angron, Mortarion, Magnus and Fulgrim) in EPIC. They all work as large focus models for their respective Cults.

- I wouldn't expect this stuff before the Summer is over. Relax, enjoy your Sylvaneth and play some games using your Handbook.

- Tzeentch Arcanites, Thousand Sons, Daemons of Tzeentch. #YearOfTzeentch (btw, don't take the year as year but more as ~12 months lol). Also, these aren't next in line, so again, don't expect this tomorrow ...


Last but not least, a quote from Sad Panda that summs it quite up

"Remember it is still a few months out, especially the 40K stuff.
There are a lot of things in the pipeline before it. Deathwatch for example."

Start Collecting Formationen - CSM und Tempestus - Regeln

Der Chaos Lord bekommt Hass und alle Einheiten der Formation in 12 Zoll um ihn auch.

Formation: Lord in Termirüstung + 1 Einheit CSM + 1 Hellbrute

Kurze Info. Die Formation ist heute rausgesickert. Wie erwartet:

Tempestus Hellrain Formation:
1 Kommissar
1 Scion HQ Trupp
1 Scion Trupp
1 Taurox Prime

Sonderregel: Hellrain Reinforcement
Wenn der Scion Trupp komplett ausgelöscht wird und der Kommissar noch lebt, kann der komplette Trupp, genauso wie er aufgestellt wurde, nächste Runde per Deep Strike Rule wieder ins Spiel kommen. Dabei ist er wieder Teil der Formation, kann also beim Totalverlust erneut in Spiel kommen usw.

Hört sich ja nicht si schlecht an - muss man nur gut auf den Kommissar aufpassen.

Fliegerasse-Regeln im White Dwarf

(bekannt aus Shield of Baal: Leviathan)

Im nächsten WD sind auch ein paar Fliegerasse-Regeln - darunter welche für FMCs

Last week "pointy ears" hint was just a reference to a nicely painted Dark Eldar army presented in the WD. Next to that the Ace system in the WD is a 35pts upgrade for any flyer, with a roll on a table for 3 possible results. Similar to the first time it popped up in the old Crusade of Fire book IIRC, but there are rolls for the FMC armies, I'm not sure if that was the case before.

I go from memory here, so mistakes may be made:
- Eldars/Dark Eldars use the same table so that the glorious Craftworlders no longer have to acknowledge their lowly pale peasants cousins as a real independent army!
- SM and BA roll on different tables, yet I'm pretty sure they actually are the same. But it's okay, they needed to fill space and it's not like another army could have used it.
- There is a table for "other factions" so if such a thing as a SoB flyer exist you know where to roll.

Tables results I remember:
- Nids (Automatically succeed instinctive behavior or +3" to synapse range / +1W / if within 12" of a board edge, can go into ongoing reserves at the beginning of the enemy shooting phase before any shots are fired)
- Daemons (reroll vector strikes that failed to wound or penetrate / +1 W IIRC / +1 invulnerable save compatible with other upgrades)
- CSM (+1 BS / reroll vector strikes like daemons / units within 12" have... relentless I think? Amusingly while I know the rules in English I sometime have no idea what a rule in my own language is...)

A lot of the tables have +1 BS as their first result. IG/MT can roll a +1 AV to their front armor for some AV13 goodness, Orks also can so that you can upgrade from paper plane to cardboard plane!

A white raven appeared today and brought me a message - winter is coming ...
Warhammer 40k turns 30 years old next year. The new edition is due. The clock will be taken from 5 minutes to midnight to 1 minute to midnight with the return of the Daemonprimarchs - or will they return alone? This is the theme of the new setting - think along the lines of 13th Black Crusade - but this time, it's serious. They want to get the same excitement as the community had during the End Times - without actually going as far as Age of Sigmar did.
Chaos fans - this is your hour. Stop beeing grudgy, there will be lots of love for all of you - renegades, former legions, daemon lovers.
The lore already start to unfold, with the Shield of Baal and Warzone Fenris - so we are already within the action. As usual, this is a bit of an early talk, so stay cool and take it with a tiny bit of salt.

Einmal pro Spiel darf der Captain zu Beginn des Zuges einen Schlachtruf ausrufen, der allen im 12" 'Radius feel no pain' und 'it will not die' gibt. Dieser hält dann bis zum nächsten eigenen Spielzug

Haven't seen the rules. Haven't seen the sprues unpainted. But I could swear Deathwatch will get access to some xenos gear. That sure looks like an green, ominously glowing Necron-style sword that one guy has.

Also a Captain/Master of the Watch (?) HQ type in a pose similar to new-Ulrik.

Hi guys

Recently I posted some interesting rumours for the foreseeable future. I have an update with some very exciting releases for this year.

GW's flagship game has been rather quiet in recent months and AOS has been stealing the headlines in the meantime. I'm here to tell you that 40k is coming back in a big way.

-This year we're going to see the start of something called "The time of Ending!" Games Workshop is going to advance the storyline.

-You've all heard the rumors of plastic Deamon Primarchs. I'm here to tell you they aren't the only ones. Before Christmas this year we're going to see the release of some loyalists as well.

-ROGAL DORN is going to be the first loyalist release. This is going to be a plastic kit specifically designed for 40k. He'll be missing one of his hands, in it's place will be a ranged weapon of some kind (this detail was quite sketchy however)

-Other Loyalists will also be returning eventually. Guilliman will be fully healed alongside some other surprises.
Here's a big development: Some of the Primarchs will return to lead forces OTHER than their original Legions/Chapters, and will have different allegiances.

-Alpharius (or Omegon?) will be fighting against the forces of Chaos, whilst the Khan might return to battle the Imperium! (These details were sketchy and I believe these might just be examples)

-The plastic Primarchs will be specifically for 40k with different sets of rules, looks and wargear ALTHOUGH there might be overlap with some of the existing FW models.

-Horus Heresy second boardgame will be released around November this year.

-Plastic Warhound will not be released this year.

-Warhammer 40k 8th edition will have 2 tiers of game. A streamlined version and more advanced play. Also free downloads for rules in the same way as AoS will start this year following the next campaign book. This will not be for all of the rules however.

-The time of Ending will lead into 8th edition which is out next year.

I won't say anything regarding this besides what I already posted - that I got told that Daemon Primarchs will appear, normal Primarchs may appear and there is an End Times like story arc going on in preperation for 8th.

Also GW got new pricey machines to make bigger kits, but that was also already known, and also stated in their sales report.
