Privateer Press - Turnierregeln 2013

Bei Privateer Press geht es Schlag auf Schlag. Nach den neuen Errata wurden jetzt die Regeln für drei Turnierformate für Warmachine und Hordes veröffentlicht.

In Steamroller tournaments, players face off in a series of games and pit their skills against a gauntlet of opponents to determine who will emerge victorious. Steamroller is ideal for groups of 8 to 128 players and promotes fast and furious play while stressing the ability to adapt to a variety of scenarios.

In Hardcore 2013 tournaments, players face off in a series of games to test their mettle in an unforgiving environment. Insanely fast time limits, detailed painting requirements, and only one army list make this a format for experienced players who want to push the limits of their endurance and skill. Multiple awards also provide players with opportunities to claim victory even if they aren’t undefeated when the smoke clears.

In Masters tournaments, players face off to prove that they are a master of their WARMACHINE or HORDES faction. In this format players bring multiple lists of their chosen faction, and battle over six carefully selected scenarios in a series of matches. These scenarios provide the arena with which to test a player’s knowledge, skill, and ability to adapt. Masters is ideal for convention level competitive play with groups of thirty-two or more players.

Ich bin mal auf den Hintergrund gespannt.

Musst du mal das zweite Abenteuer der Witchfire Triology spielen, da invasiert man mit der Gruppe eine der Technopyramide in denen die Jungs wohnen 😉
In gewisser weise wars aber auch irgendwie logisch, da eine Menge der Viecher die in der Triology auftauchten gerade den Weg ins Tabletop fanden.

Dabei erinnern die mich mehr an Warforged aus D&D Eberron :happy:

Aber die Fraktion sagt mir optisch irgendwie mehr zu als der Rest, mal schauen in wie weit sich das ändern könnte, wenn die weitere Figuren präsentieren.

Die ersten Modelle der neuen Warmachine-Fraktion Convergence of Cyriss werden vorgestellt:


The Inverter represents the first of the Convergence of Cyriss’ vector chassis. Designed specifically for brute force, its heavy spring-loaded macropummeler sends its unfortunate opponents crashing to the ground, making them easy targets for the finishing blows of its meteor hammer. The Cipher supports the assault with a pair of hydraulically powered piston spikes and an integrated servipod mortar that can unleash several different ammunition types in support of its army’s advance. The Monitor, with a wicked ellipsaw flinger that sends powerful blades spinning toward enemies, represents a deadly ranged threat to any who oppose the Maiden of Gears.
This box set contains three color stat cards and one multi-part heavy vector plastic model (PIP 36002). Included are all the components to assemble one of three heavy vector variants: Cipher, Inverter, or Monitor. A player may field any number of these vectors in a Convergence army.

Also, die Preise für die Starter scheinen zumindest schon etwas länger bei 49,99 zu liegen, habe letzten Monat schon mal geschaut, weil ich demnächst evtl. mit Warmachine anfangen wollte...


Die großen Vektoren sehen aber irgendwie nicht so toll aus, da hatte man sich nach den anderen Figuren für Cyriss mehr versprochen... Da ist die Schneekönigin weiter oben ja fast noch interessanter 😉
