Dynastopian Wars

The world of Dystopian Wars is similar to our own, but subtly different. The year is 1870 and the Industrial Revolution occurred decades earlier than in our own world. Technology is far advanced, and in many cases, unrecognisable, which has led to the development of fantastic naval vessels, hulking land ships and terror from the skies in the form of airships and war balloons.
Dystopian Wars is set in a Steampunk Victorian world and is designed to ensure a fun game with a large selection of high quality models in a couple of hours. The rules support Naval, Aerial and Land models from the outset, so that you can set up battles and scenarios in any combat setting. Spartan Games will supply highly detailed, high quality resin and metal miniatures with which you can roam the high seas, scour the smog filled skies of Dystopian Wars for enemy flying ships, or doggedly defend the cities and countryside of your home nation.

Heroes of Myth & Legend
Our first set of 40mm miniatures start our journey into the world of Greek Mythology and focus in the main on Jason and his Argonauts. We've kicked off with a number of classic modelsfor this particular myth and added a few extra models along the way.

Firestorm Armada
This game is our second major product release, and follows the same ethos with which we designed The Uncharted Seas, both are games that are easy to learn and give a fast paced game. We are big fans of naval games whether they are on the ocean or in deep space, so it was a logical progression to ask our sculptors here at Spartan Games to work on some futuristic ship designs.
Firestorm Armada launched on November 23rd with four fleets in place: Terrans, Dindrenzi, Aquans and Sorylian. All four fleets also had Carrier upgrade ships available for them and in our 96 page core rule book we detailed two more races - The Directorate and The Relthoza. Over time we will roll out more upgrade ships, including such things as Escorts, Heavy Cruisers, Leviathans, Gunships and so on.

Uncharted Seas
The Uncharted Seas is a fast paced, action packed game of naval tactical combat set in a world of high fantasy. Using superb resin and white metal miniatures, and controlled by fast and easy to learn rules, the game allows you to wage war with fantastical squadrons of mighty warships.
Choose from one of several races, including the Iron Dwarfs with their steam powered ironclads, Orc Raiders with their grotesque machines of war, the ever powerful Dragon Lords, an ancient race of magical seafarers, Imperial Humans hell bent on grabbing as much land as they can and the Thaniras Elves with their sleek ships of war.

Nur so mein erster Gedanke bei dem Schiffchen.
Ich finde die Voraschau auf die kommenden restlichen Franzosen einiges interessanter als sowohl Titanic 3D(W) und die Russen.
Diese riesige fliegende Festung ist zwar etwas seltsam aber schon n echter Hingucker

Ich denke mal, dass der zunächst für alle Fraktionen (Covenant vielleicht mal abgesehen) universell sein wird. Immerhin wird ja im Hintergrundtext gesagt, dass die Luxusliner an praktisch jede Nation verkauft wurden, die es sich leisten konnten.

Die mehr als deutlichen Anleihen an die echte Olympic-Klasse (zu der ja auch die Titanic gehörte) sind auf jeden Fall mal wieder sehr gut gelungen und das Schiff wird sicher in meine preußische Flotte aufgenommen.

btw:
Warum eigentlich nur ein Truppentranporter? Mich würde viel lieber interessieren wie man es schafft solche Kolosse wie 3-4 Stockwerke hohe "Medium Tanks" und Landschiffe über die Weltmeere zu schippern...

Das kommt dann bestimmt auch noch. Generell ein ganzes Arsenal an Frachtern und Tankern würde mir sehr gefallen. 🙂

Und auch passend, da das dritte und letzte Schiff der Klasse, die Britannic, ausschließlich als Lazarettschiff eingesetzt wurde.

Muss man eigentlich auf zufälliges Sinken würfeln, wenn man gegen Covenant spielt? 😀

Schon ein neues? Ich hab das erste noch nichtmal angelesen. 😱
Aber ich finde es gut, dass sie da regelmäßig was nachlegen. Feine Sache.

Jop, schon recht schnell ein neues Buch. Hat mich auch überrascht. Diesmal soll es (endlich) nach Europa gehen. Die Passrungen stehen auch schon fest:

Britannien und RUssland zusammen mit den Alliierten Kanada und Polen/Litauen
kämpfen gegen
Preußen und Frankreich mit den Alliierten Dänemark und Belgien
(Italiener und Oasmanan sind ja leider noch nicht erschienen, von den Paarungen her scheint man sich wohl eh eher auf Skandinavien und Nordwesteuropa zu konzentrieren)

Ich hoffe vor allem, dass das Buch endlich auch ein paar Karten liefert, was auch schon im Sparten Forum angesprochen wurde, denn die habe ich in Hurricane Season schmerzlich vermisst.

Ach ja, alle neuen Einheiten, die im Rahmen des Buches erscheinen sollen sind natürlich so geil, wie man es von Spartan Games kennt. Also mMn ist da bis jetzt kein Ausfall dabei.
