Dieser Genstealer-Roman ´Das Vermächtnis des Vadok Singh´ klingt für mich interessant da ich weder über Gene Kultis noch über Soros bisher was gelesen hab. Auch wenn ich C. L. Wernernoch net so einzuschätzen weiß, sein ´Prophet des Unheils´ war zwar ganz gut, auch wenn ich etwas mit de Hufe scharre ob und wann der die anderen beiden Bände der Thanquol-Trio rausbringt (was ist eigentlich mit diesem Roman Tempel of the Seprent? Soll der net auch von ihm sein und kommt der mal auf deutsch?), aber irgendwie kann ich mich des Eindrucks net erwehren dass er sich um das was mit der Felix&Gotrek-Reihe & Co. als Fundament und Hintergrund hatte net so wirklich geschert hat.

Was ist eigentlich mit dem hier, is der schon ins Deutsche übersetzt oder steht das noch aus?

Hat wer von euch schon diesen Blood Angels Roman ´Dante´ gelesen und kann mir sagen ob der sich für nen BA-Fan lohnt oder ob man eher die Finger davon lassen sollte?

Und um blutig zu bleiben, weiß jemand wann Black Library Band 1 & 2 der Blood Angels Reihe veröffentlicht? Hat mich doch sehr irritiert als ich die deutschen 3 & 4 in die Hände bekam und feststellte dass es die anderen nur von Heyne und nur in Englisch gibt.

Das würde passen. Werde mir das Buch wohl definitiv genehmigen, da es scheinbar sehr viel Inhalt bietet der nötig ist um die derzeitigen Veränderungen bei den Marines wirklich zu erfassen und zu verstehen.
Das Papa Schlumpf die Primaris nicht mag habe ich mir fast gedacht. So wird es fast allen Orden, so auch den SW und DA gehen.
Die Orden an sich sind ja eine sehr verschworene Bruderschaft - jeder für sich allein. Vor der Heresy war es ja auch üblich das Mitglieder anderer Orden eine Zeit bei ihren Brüdern verbrachten und gemeinsam kämpften. Das hat sich ja nach dem Verrat stark gewandelt.
Die neuen Primaris werden ein nötiges Übel im Auge der Orden sein, denn sie sind stark geschwächt und ausgedünnt. Siehe Fenris, welches von Magnus verwüstet wurde und ganze Generationen gekostet haben dürfte. Baal ist nun auch mehr ein Massengrab. Man könnte das wohl so weiterführen...

Bin gespannt ob diese angespannte Lage auch im Fluff außerhalb der Romane so rüberkommt.
Ich muss meine Theorie des Gleichschalters Gulliman etwas relativieren. Nach den letzten Flufffetzen wirkt es vorerst so, als wolle er tatsächlich etwas retten, und das nicht nur für sich, sondern um seiner selbst wegen. Gleichzeitig kommt so eine leichte Stimmung ala "Der Veräter an meinem Tisch" rüber. Sind halt alles Konstrukte die durch Ausgrenzung und Faschismus funktionieren, nicht durch Offenheit.
Bin echt heiß auf den neuen Stoff.

Die Übersetzungen bzw. Vertonungen ins Deutsche (und andere Sprachen) dürfte unrentabel sein. Allerdings kann man damit sein Englisch recht gut wieder aufbessern 😀

Mir war nicht aufgefallen dass der Roman zur Starterbox diesmal nicht auf deutsch erschienen ist... Manche Bücher wie Warmason schieben sie zügig auf deutsch nach, mal sehen ob da bald etwas erscheint

The shadow component does refer to Ulgu, but that's as far as it goes, I'm afraid. The book takes place in Ghur, mostly, though there are scenes in Shyish and Aqshy. The Eight Lamentations - of which the spear is one - are mystic weapons forged by the eight weaponsmiths of Khorne. One weapon for each realm. A spear for Ulgu, a sword for Aqshy, a mace for Chamon, etc. Each of the weapons possesses some of the characteristics of the realm whose substance it was wrought from, and, in the right hands, is capable of turning the tide of battle or possibly wounding a god.

The series itself is about the hunt for these mystic weapons, which have begun to reappear in the realms after going missing for several centuries. The weapons are scattered across the realms, either hidden or lost, and the various factions are in a race to claim them, hoping to use them to swing the war to one side or the other. The factions in the first book include the eight weaponsmiths of Khorne, who are in competition with each other, via their chosen champions, as well as everyone else; Grungni and his agents - a Gunmaster of Azyr, a Fyreslayer Doomseeker, a mercenary from Chamon, a warrior-priest from Ghur and a demigryph knight from Ghyran - who are the protagonists of the book; Neferata and her agent, Adhema; a Tzeentchian servant of Archaon; the Spider-God; and, last but not least, the skaven. The book also features numerous cameos and references to most every other AOS book I've written, and a street-level look at Excelsis.

Vielen dank Warmaster für die Übersicht der Bücher. Auf War of Sigmar, kann man auch fast alle Covers bereits sehen.
Da muss ich sagen finde ich das Cavor von Ruinstorm ziemlich furchtbar, sehr schön gezeichnet, aber die Charakterkonzepte von Sanguinus (War er immer nicht als der schönste beschrieben worden?) und auch vom Löwen (Blondes Haar und schwarzer Bart ?!) finde ich alles in allem nicht gelungen.

Schön finde ich das die Kulte schon ihr 3. Buch bekommen. Mal was anderes als immer nur Space Marines im Krieg zu lesen.

Das Cadia Buch kommt mir ehrlich gesagt zu spät, der 13. Kreuzzug ist einfach abgehandelt worden. Das hätten sie einfach vor dem 1. Gathering Storm oder zumindest zeitgleich rausbringen müssen, sehr schade. Mir war das sogar eh zu schnell mit nur 3 Büchern abgehandelt worden.

Ist wohl etwas untergegangen, aber hier kann man bezüglich der Neuauflage alter Romane abstimmen. Hab zwar Drachenfels (deutsch und im Omnibus), aber das ist einfach das beste aus der Auswahl für Fantasy. Bei 40k... Space Marine. Schräge Story, mental gestörte Protagonisten (Space Marines natürlich), Tyranidendiplomatie und -propaganda, Necromunda und ein bewegendes Ende - was braucht man mehr.😎

Danke für den Link. Als Pessimist sage ich: puh leider nur zwei AoS Titel - und das für eine ganze neue Welt - ach was sage ich, für viele neue Welten. Als Optimist: immerhin kommt überhaupt was, denn ich hatte auch schon mal gelesen, dass es für AoS Belletristik nur noch englisch geben soll. Hoffentlich legt sich dann auch mit der Zeit, wenn das ausgebaut wird, die nervige "No Fluff" Diskussion der Ahnungslosen.
