So there is definitely fluff in the book. I which quantity I can't tell but apparently each faction will get at least one or two pages of fluff. In addition the book goes deeper when it comes to some of them. For example Slaanesh Hosts have 24 pages for themselves. The surviving followers of Slaanesh are now separated between Pretenders, Seekers and Invaders. Each have their own specific way of either venerating or aiming to replace Slaanesh.

If you wonder if Slaanesh followers are now more PG13, here is an excerpt from a page called "Unbound Revel", at least what I can read without a microscope:
"Counted among the most powerful of the Invaders, the Keeper of Secrets Xia'slae'shesos is dedicated utterly to the expression of his most twisted urges upon mortal flesh. He has surrounded himself with an army of degenerate pleasure seekers, whom he leads in monstrous rampages across the realms"

Still from what I get, you shall not expect vast and deep fluff or side stories.

From what I see, background pages have color artwork, Warscrolls have the pictures of the models.

There are 15 Warscrolls Battalions in the book on top of the 158 regular Warscrolls. The only one I've seen in the WD are:
- Clan Skryre (too big to describe, it's a whole army with lot of special rules)
- Blood Host of Khorne (1 Bloodthirster + 7 or more units of Khorne Daemons in any combinations, in the hero phase pick D3 units that are within 3" of enemy models, they can pile in and attack with one weapon. Pick D6 units instead if there are 16 or more units in the Battalion)

Blood Host is accompanied by fluff regarding the way armies of Khorne are structured (for all of their savagery they actually have a very rigid structure). Right below Khorne are the Bloodthirsters of the Anger Incandescent Host. Each command 8 BT from the tiers below, each of them in turn commanding 8 BT from the tiers below and so on. I don't know if this is already fluff we know from old Army Books/Codexes but just in case here are the 8 hosts in order:

1- Anger Incandescent
2- Seething Fury
3- Wrath of Khorne
4- Apoplectic Ire
5- Infernal Outrage
6- Insensate Rage
7- Executionner of Khorne
8- Unfettered Fury

From what I've been told about Marchs O&G releases, we'll see a big monster, an infantry unit, a cavalry unit, and several clampack characters. Plus the obvious book of course.

5 warscrolls inside the WD, actually one for the Lord Celestant on Dracoth and 4 for the Dracothian Guards that are actually just the 4 weapons options. Fulminators (glaives), Tempestors (not-bolters crossbow), Concussors (hammers) and Desolators (axes, which actually increase their number of attacks the more they are in the unit, 3 for 2, 4 for 4 and 6 for 6... now go buy more!)

Next week hints is something something Dracothion and Warriors of the Extremis Chambers.

You already know about sylvaneth and stormcast, seraphon and fireslayer the book have all the warscroll plus a selection of formations.
But that is only the tip of the iceberg 280 - pages covering 16 old factions from : Devoted (fantatics), free people milicia, Battlemage, 10 aelves faction, Darkling covens, phoenix temple. Even if the elves are in order alliance they follow mysterious ways and are an autonomous force. And the Ironweld arsenal - human canons and duardin steamtanks ....

Stormcasts, Seraphon und Fyreslayer sind ebenfalls im Buch zu finden. Die alte Imperiumsmodelle bleiben scheinbar erhalten.

Realmgate Wars Buch am 2.4.2016 / Orruks Ende April?

I've just been told it will be the third Realmgate Wars book, no minis this week.

According to one of my sources, the former Orcs & Goblins will get their "AoS-ification" at the end of April. The first release is set for 30th of April, with advance orders up on the 23. In no particular order, there will be: a monster kit, a new unit of cavalry, a new unit of infantry, plus some clampack characters. Apart from the characters (no details here) the other new kits are about Ironjaws (former Black Orcs).

Regarding Tzeentch, Sad Panda said that this years AOS focus was Tzeentch but that a Lord of Change had not yet been started. I hope that helps your purchasing decision Mesothere.

GD's are all finished and have been for some time, however I do not know if the LoC and other unreleased ones will get AoS'd before release (i.e. have slight alterations), FYI the Big Nurgle thing from End Times was originally going to be a GUO.

AFAIK it's all new. Some of it kind of existing but with a new twist. If that makes any sense?

Thanks for the info, Hastings! Sounds really cool. Could you shed any light on the Aelves? No one seems to know anything...other than BL saying they'll cover the Realms of Shadow and Light this yr. Aelves still seem a huge unknown.

I know there is some kind of "monster" coming out for Aelves, but as for the Aelves themselves? I'm not sure if the aesthetic has changed at all, in fact I'm almost certain someone told me they were just repacks (along the lines of the Lizardmen) but with some new kits too. BTW that's not a rumour, that's just passing on what someone told me. TBH I haven't asked about anything AoS related at all, nor do I mind what it ends up being, as I'll not be buying it anyway 🙂
