Diskussion - Div.

This week on Warhammer Live: Craftworlds Preview, Tony’s Mystery Crate, and more

Warhammer Live is about to get even better, kicking off a new and improved weekly schedule with previews, games, interviews and more, including something mysterious from Forge World, a close look into the new Craftworlds codex and much more.

How will the new schedule work? Each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be divided into three sections – an interview, an in-depth tactical review show and finally a game! This includes a much greater focus on Specialist games – after all, with Necromunda and Shadespire soon out and Blood Bowl a well established system in its own right, it’s high time we represented them in full on stream!

This Wednesday will be all about Firestorm, the latest expansion for Warhammer Age of Sigmar and a great way to run narrative led, map-based campaigns. We’ll be talking Firestorm at 4:00 pm with Warhammer Age of Sigmar expert Ben Johnson, before diving in later in the day at 6:00 pm with a campaign of our own. We’ll also be looking at the top three lists from the Warhammmer Age of Sigmar Grand Tournament Grand Final at 5:00 pm, breaking down why they were so effective, and how you can emulate their strategies to secure victory in your own games (and be victorious against them).

On Thursday at 4:00 pm, we’ll be checking in with Tony Cottrell, head of the Forge World studio. While we can’t reveal what he’ll be showing off, we can guarantee it’ll be awesome – would you expect anything else from the team that brought you the Horus Heresy? Later in the day, at 5:00 pm, we’ll be breaking down how to build your Shadespire deck – get the top tips and tricks, and make sure that you have the edge on your enemies as soon as you’ve got the Core Set in hand. Finally, two players will be putting their own deck-building to the test with our game at 6:00 pm between Jon and Natalie.

Finally, if you’re looking for some exclusive previews, Friday we’ll be taking a closer look at the new Craftworlds codex, checking out some exclusive material not covered in our Craftworld previews. We’ll be looking at the best builds, some key Stratagems and updated units in the book – don’t miss it, tune in at 5:00 pm.

We’ll be finishing the week at 6:00 with a visit from our friends from the Tabletop Assault YouTube channel, in the form of a game between some Nurgle Chaos Space Marines and the Necrons of the Sautekh Dynasty.

As always, you can watch all of this for free by tuning in live on Twitch, or, if you’re a subscriber, you can check out our entire back catalogue whenever you like!

Eine große Ankündigung?

Lord Kragan auf Dakkadakka:
Friday evening sees ‘The Pete and Andy Show’, as it has become known! Pete Foley and Andy Smillie get together to talk about the news and new releases from the studio over the next few months. Previously in this kind of seminar, we saw a preview of Shadespire a good 7 or 8 months prior to release, a new edition of Warhammer 40,000 was revealed and, most recently, at the Nova Open they showed off models and information about next year’s Warhammer Age of Sigmar releases – so this is certainly not one to be missed.

Chikout auf Dakkadakka:
The previous events have introduced 8th edition, Shadespire and Necromunda so it is reasonable to expect some big news.

HorticulusDK - DakkaDakka

It's a classic "news seminar" the GW team is holding at almost every conventions they go, these days.

Following this article on WarCom, https://www.warhammer-community.com...rs-previews-and-more-oct-6gw-homepage-post-3/

they interviewed Ben on Warhammer TV ; he explicitly said the news would be about the AoS event "Malign Portents", and perhaps some AoS Nurgle - I hope for mainly AoS news, as Chikout said, B&G is clearly AoS oriented.
