I don't think we'll be seeing this down our way.

I guess it'll be for whatever countries have their prices listed in £ on the GW store, which ain't us.

Essentially they'll do it to secure prices should the pound tank in the coming months. Like they'd help us by giving us US prices.

I'm a GW stockist and got this info at the beginning of April. I asked GW about it and they told me it only affects the places that are part of EU but not part of the EU taxation rules.

Here is a list of all these places:

Exclusions: There are some areas of the EU that are treated, for the purpose of the EU VAT, as if they were outside the EU:
Heligoland and Büsingen am Hochrhein in Germany
Ceuta, Melilla and The Canary Islands in Spain
Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique and Réunion in France
Mount Athos in Greece
Livigno, Campione d'Italia and Lake Lugano in Italy
Aland Islands / Ahvenanmaa in Finland
the northern third of the island (the "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus", recognised only by Turkey) and the Green Line, in Cyprus
Faroe Islands in Denmark
Gibraltar on Spain, Akrotiri and Dhekelia on Cyprus in the United Kingdom
the Saimaa Canal and the island of Malyj Vysotskij, Finland leases from Russia
Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin and the Clipperton Island in France; etc.

Diese Woche im Livestream

Warhammer Live This Week May 3rd-5th

On Wednesday we have something really special. The Narrative Event Organisers (NEOs), a few of which you have seen here, will be playing a double header showcasing narrative gaming. They are playing two linked games where the outcome of the first will have an impact on what happens in the second and the players may change the objectives depending on how the story develops. This will be a cracker!!!

On Thursday, we bring you guests from around Games Workshop HQ. We’ll have games design legend Jervis Johnson from the rules team, who will be talking about narrative gaming. Then we have Joey Logan from the studio back by popular request to talk about developing the Sector Mechanicus range.

Friday is Warhammer 40,000 day, and this week, we have Simon Grant with Space Wolves facing off against Andy Millington’s Thousand Sons. This is a grudge match long in the making, so expect some smack talk. Then, for game two we have John from the Aceface youtube channel using Tyranids against Sean’s Space Marines.

It’s gonna be a another great week!

Jo, man hat CEO und Studio ausgetauscht.
Sie nennen sich selbst auch scherzweise jetzt New Games Workshop in der FAQ zur 8.

Da Matt Ward weg ist, könnten auch die Codizes besser werden.
Nur, nach allem Feedback, das ich so lese, ist Death Masque und Gathering Storm 2 nach zu urteilen niemand dabei, der auch nur ansatzweise Gespür oder zumindest Sympathie für Eldar hätte.
Das macht mir dann doch etwas Angst um ihre Darstellung in der 8.

Ward macht noch irgendwas bei GW. Und Cruddacce und Jervis sind noch da. Wenn die 3 dauerhaft weg sind.... Dann bin ich zuversichtlich.

Unwahrscheinlich da unwirtschaftlich, die Leute brauchen auch erst mal ein paar Tage um all das neue zu verarbeiten.


Würden Nurgle oder SM oder Primaris im July kommen wäre das schon durch gesickert wurden.

Klar kann noch was kommen, aber was ist mit AoS ? wird das dann einfach gar nicht bedient?
Da waren doch noch einige Sachen auf der langen "Kommt bald"-Liste.

Was ich mir vorstellen könnte ist, dass im Juli was für Age of Sigmar kommt und es dann Ende Juli mit Death Guard und Space Marines losgeht. Länger werden sie nicht warten. Und die Sommerkampagne ist auch ein sehr gutes Argument.

Ich erwarte aber im Juli schon was neues für 40k. Am ehesten Primaris, da man da schon fertige Modelle gesehen hat.
