40K wird auf AoS Regeln angepasst. Profile aller Einheiten gibt es ab morgen gratis zum runterladen. Das Generals Handbook mit Punktkosten für alle Völker kommt dann in 18 Monaten und kostet 2000$

Aber ernsthaft: Ich erwarte nichts so großes. Für eine neue 40K Edition ist es noch zu früh. AoS würde man nicht so groß ankündigen.
Um neue 40K Völker wurde auch nie so ein Aufstand gemacht...

Ich denke am ehesten wird ein "neues" spiel vorgestellt. z.B. Gothic oder Mortheim

Sollte an dem Specialst Games-Gerücht was wahres dran sein, dass sehe ich auch eher das Titanicus-Spiel kommen. Verdammt, dabei wollte ich doch sparen 🙁

Titanicus ist eine Forgeworld-Geschichte, das es von SG übernommen wird ist reine Spekulation.

Specialist Games ist als ganzes eine Abteilung innerhalb von Forge World. Es wird nur bei den Grundboxen und Plastik Modellen der normale GW Vertrieb mit genutzt. Siehe Blood Bowl, wo die Grundboxen und Teams regulär vertrieben werden, die Resin Zubehörsachen aber nur bei Forge World direkt.
Kurzum, das neue Titanicus ist von Specialist Games, was wiederum zu Forge World gehört.

Sei es wie es ist, Titanicus wurde gecancelt/zurückgestellt bis ?...
Obs diese Form der aufmerksamkeitsheischenden Ankündigung braucht um dafür wieder Interesse zu wecken, bezweifele ich dennoch.

AT wurde zurückgestellt weil es doch eine Startbox und Grundmodelle aus Plastik geben soll, nachdem es positiver angenommen wurde als erwartet. Vielleicht zieht man es es noch größer auf, wer weis.

Eigentlich will ich mich ja nicht freuen (weil ohne Erwartungen kann man nicht enttäuscht werden ^^) aber so langsam frag ich mich was da bei GW los ist.
Waren die all die Jahre in Stasekaspeln? Auf einmal "so viel" Community work, auf einmal so offen... das... das ist mir schon irgendwie unheimlich.
Wenn sie es jetzt noch schaffen 40k wieder in die Bahn zu kriegen das mein Verein/Club wieder mit 40k anfängt... ... ach verdammt... jetzt hab ich ja doch Erwartungen 😉

Der Brexit kommt und GW bereitet sich scheinbar schon auf die neue Situation vor. Im B&C Forum wurde folgender Hinweise auf eine Umstellung des GW Webshops auf Zahlung mit US$ gepostet. Ich verstehe es so dass intern in US$ statt GBP abgerechnet wird, in den GW/BL/WhDigital Webshops aber weiter in der jeweiligen Landeswährung bezahlt wird.

I think it IS about the GBP, the Brexit, about how the British pound sterling dropped pretty fast right after that vote, and if you're anything like our meta we all started going to the Forgeworld site and buying in bulk while it was cheap (turns out we didn't have to rush, the GBP is still kinda at the rate at the time, I know because I was the one fulfilling the 30k order for my local Brothers). We talked about this months earlier, when studying GW's half-year financial report, which was a huge positive turnaround we should all be happy about. The GBP may fluctuate even more in the coming months/years, everyone has their own opinion.
