Offenbar gab es beim Black Library Live noch ein paar Ankündgungen kommender Romane:
For you folk who were sick, footsore, starving or just too plain bone idle (or preferred some ADB lovin') to attend the "New Release and Forthcoming Goodies" seminar at the back end of the day here is a list of st00f that was announced that I can remember off the top of my head -

An untitled Space Marines Battles book featuring the Legion of the Damned

A Space Marines Battles book featuring four linked novellas surrounding the Eye of Terror Containment Fleet called "Architect of Fate"

Horus Heresy Battle of Calth penned by Mr. Dan Abnett

Horus Heresy Battle of Signus Prime by Mr. Jim Swallow titled "Fear to Tread"

Horus Heresy four novellas compilation titled "The Primarchs" featuring tales by Nick Kyme (Ferrus Manus), Rob Sanders (Alpharius/Omegon), Gav Thorpe (The Lion), Graham McNeill (Fulgrim)

New Time of Legends stuff:

War of Vengeance/War of the Beard (Chris Wraight/Nick Kyme)
The Black Plague (CL Werner)
Vampire Wars (Gav Thorpe)

Darkblade - new novels at some stage; reprint of the entire comic series including the previously unreleased 40K jetbike version...

Plus Knights of the Blazing Sun, which might include some stuff about Solland.

Gotrek and Felix anthology, which might include short stories acquired via an open submissions window.

I believe new Zavant was mentioned at some point, though I might have hallucinated that.

Plus something called "flesh fiction", which sounds intriguing...

Bill King is writing (in fact, has written) a full trilogy of Tyrion and Teclis novels, the first of which we already knew about.

Eye of Vengance - The latest Ultramarines story by Graham Mcneill (Eye of Vengance is the weapon of Sergeant Telion - possibly centres/involves him)
and the continuation of the HH novel-audio conversions.

Other Novellas announced were;

Promethean Sun, by Nick Kyme - a HH novella, featuring pre-heresy Mortarion, Ferrus Manus & Vulkan

Ich selbst hab mittlerweile The Purging of Kadillus durch. Anfangs war ich recht begeistert, aber das letzte Viertel fand ich etwas enttäuschend. Insgesamt gehobener Durchschnitt würd' ich sagen.

Spring 2012 find ich jetzt nicht so spannend, da wir ja noch nicht mal richtig Spring 2011 haben (und der Weltuntergang dann ja an die Tür klopft, hauptsache wir ham was zu lesen mit)

Sehr schade. Zum Einen sind das, bis auf Ferrus Manus, Primarchen, die schon intensiv behandelt wurden, während andere bis jetzt noch kaum Beachtung fanden. Zum Anderen waren die bisherigen Novellen 30 Pfund teurer und limitiert.

Ah so ein Ding ist das. Na dann haben sie wohl schiess, das Teil geht nicht schnell genug weg, wenn sie die "Uninteressanten" nehmen...

Na ja jetzt mal nicht verrückt machen wegen des Preises. Nicht alle Novellas waren so teuer. Space Hulk und Island of Blood waren bei 2 oder 3€. Das mit den 30€ sind die limitierten Ausgaben. Steht noch nicht fest, dass diese 4-Primarchen -Compilation auch so teuer wird. Was teuer wird sind die limitierten Novellas von ADB (über Lorgar im Eye of Terror) und noch eine weitere limitierte (Kyme?kann mich grad nicht mehr erinnern!?). ADB äussert sich dazu in seinem Blog und erklärt was er versucht dem Leser mit einer solchen Ausgaben zu bieten.

Grmpf, habe gerade zu den neuen Europreisen eine Antwort von der BL bekommen - Tenor: "Danke für die offene und ehrliche Antwort. Dass die ebooks in Euro real mehr kosten als in Pfund oder Dollar liegt halt daran, dass wir die ebook-Preise von den Preisen der gedruckten Bücher in den jeweiligen Währungen abhängig machen. Wir arbeiten dran, Kundenfeedback ist wertvoll, etc. pp."

Leider keine Aussage zu den erheblichen Differenzen zwischen den Beträgen (z.B. Fall of Damnos, das rechnerisch in USD satte 3 Pfund weniger kostet als in Euro). Kann sein, dass ich zwischendurch noch mal nen Blick in H&B werfen werde, aber preislich stellen die Ebooks echt keine Alternative mehr zu den Printbüchern dar, wenn man diese bei amazon o.ä. kauft. Die gedruckten sowieso nicht - warum sollte ein Kontinentaleuropäer für ein Taschenbuch doppelt so viel zahlen wollen wie bei amazon?

(Edit: ein bisschen mehr als doppelt so viel: hab mal testweise "Sword of Justice" in den Einkaufswagen gelegt, mit Porto macht das 17,50 Euro im Vergleich zu amazons 6,99. Gelächter!)

Hey Leute, hab da mal ne Frage. Ich bin gerade dabei die Bruderkriegsroma auf Deutsch zu lesen. Bin nu bei Band 4. Mortaion rennt da in sonem Xenos schiff rum und im Buch steht er nutzt nicht seine Pestsense sondern seine Laterne oO.

Was für eine Knifte soll das sein? Aus der Beschreibung der Waffe würde ich auf irgendwas Melterartiges tippen, aber mit der Übersetzung Laterne kann ich nichts anfangen. 😉

Das ist die erste Schalcht, Kapitel 2.
