Screenshots have been shared on The Honest Wargamer Discord of "Schemes of War", an alternate way of using Tactical Objective cards in Maelstrom of War missions. Basically, if you and your opponent choose to use them:
1. When make your army list, you also build a deck of 18 Tactical Objective cards out of the those available to your army (generic and Faction), with no duplicates by name.
2. Start of the first battle round, you draw 5 cards into a hand. You may mulligan, putting them on the bottom of your deck and drawing a new 4.
3. At the start of each of your turns, you put cards in-play until you have 3 - this is generating them, and I presume that missions that vary the number of cards you generate is what varies here. You may play one face-down, but only one may be face-down and in-play at a time. Draw back up to 5.
4. End of each turn check for achieved cards, score them, and discard them.
5. At the end of the Morale phase you may discard any in-play cards. You may also discard any unachievable cards from your hand (the rules define this in more detail.
New Stratagems:
Re-prioritize: 2 CP at start of your tirn to discard up to two cards and redraw
Tactical Foresight: 1 CP to look at the top three cards and put each back on the top of bottom of your deck in any order.
Determined Push: 1 CP to shuffle up to three discard cards back into your deck.
