Update #29 - A lunch time update... and some more goals

After a busy night and morning we have unlocked even more stretch goals, with some great rewards and Bolt-Ons now available:
3000 Backers - Free UCM Dog Tag

The UCM Dog Tag will be added into every single Backer who has backed a pledge level. This unlock will go out with the rewards. Photos of the UCM Dog Tag will be shown in the next few months before delivery.
£475k - Dropfleet Commander Posters Set (Bolt-On)

The Dropfleet Commander Posters Set Bolt-On will consist of 5 A2 Posters, rolled into a tube. Four of these posters will be faction specific posters of the spaceships of each fleet in profile, similar to the below image. The fifth will be a poster of Dropfleet Commander Artwork.

The Scourge Resin Spacestation Upgrade Pack - £15

This pack will allow you to augment one Modular Spacestation Pack with Scourge features. This can be used for Scenarios, or to simply alter the aesthetics of your gaming table with some detailed resin Scourge parts. This upgrade pack will be available as a Bolt-On if this campaign reaches £525k!

Jop. Voher könnte man denn entsprechend so viel Geld reinbuttern, wie man hinterher an Bolt-Ons aussuchen will, um die Gesamtsumme zu erhöhen.

Aber viele Kickstarter bieten auch an, später bei der Auswahl noch mehr Zeug auszusuchen, gegen zusätzliches Geld natürlich. Musst also jetzt nicht alles aussuchen - wäre sogar clever, denn KS wird dieses Jahr noch das Geld einziehen und der Pledge Manager dürfte erst im nächsten Jahr kommen, also verteilst du deine Maximalsumme grob auf zwei Monate...

Update #30 - Five Hundred Thousand - and more importantly: Frigate Bonanza!

Well... that was a busy afternoon!
The Frigate Bonanza Reward for all pledge level backers, is now unlocked.
What does this mean? Every pledge level backer (if you have backed one of the following pledge levels: Lieutenant, Commander, Captain, Commodore or Admiral) will receive the following for free, in addition to any Bolt-Ons and other free unlocks you have already:
A Frigate Sprue for each faction - there are 4 Frigates per Sprue = 16 Frigates!
Bases for each Free Frigate = 16 Bases!
Where's the PHR Frigates!?

The next unlock is at £525k - The Scourge Space Station Resin Scenery Upgrade Pack, which will allow you to add to your Plastic Modular Space Station Pack, or to add to other scenery pieces you might want to use.

Und Update 31:

Update #31 - A busy night and morning... The unlocks so far!

With a little over 10 hours left to go, we have smashed through two more unlocks. Thank you all! Here are the unlocks:
The Scourge Space Station Resin Scenery Upgrade Pack
Bolt-on £15

This is an add on pack for the Modular Space Station Pack, so can be used to upgrade all or part of a Space Station to make it look Scourge infested.

And...
The Kickstarter Exclusive PHR 2-UP Ajax Class Cruiser

This Kickstarter Exclusive 2-Up model will come with a custom acrylic flight stand and will be unassembled and unpainted, meaning you can pose and paint this Ajax Class Cruiser the way you want to. A perfect collectors edition model for your hobby area, bookshelf or even, mantelpiece!

We still have a few more great unlocks left, but we also wanted to let all backers know about a hidden reward that has also been unlocked:
Due to the success for this campaign, we will be including a printed full colour Backers Guide to Dropfleet Commander for every pledge level backer. This will include all assembly information for every ship on this Kickstarter, along with special scenarios for the Civilian Cruise Liner as well as some bonus KS exclusive ones, Special rules for the KS battlecruisers (for friendly play - the models of course can be used for tournament play), Painting guides for each faction, Tips on building and growing your fleets and some exclusive Background and Artwork!
There will be at least one more update coming later today, which will include more about the free rewards, the all pledge level backers T-shirt, and may well also contain some photos...

und das Ding ist durch und die 600k geschafft. Ich reiche der Vollständigkeit halber mal die letzten zwei Updates nach:

Update #32 - Just over 3 hours to go...

Thanks for your patience with us getting this Update out to you... Well, that has been an active afternoon!
First off - We have unlocked the Faction Specific Dropfleet Commander T-shirts as Bolt-Ons... and here is an example of what they are going to look like:

Next, here is what the Dropfleet Commander Backers T-shirt is going to look like:

This is a free reward for every pledge level backer!! You can also add it as a Bolt-On for £10 if you would like more than one, or if there are more than one person backing on a single pledge!
Next up we have some painted models for you... The Launch Assets.

This Bolt-On is a perfect upgrade for the card tokens that are in the Two Player Starter Set, and one set includes everything you see above - enough for a balanced tournament sized army. Please check Update #8 for more information on the Launch Assets Pack. This Pack can be bolted on for £10! Here's another photo which shows off the scale comparison to a UCM Fleet Carrier:

Some Clarifications:

To ensure everyone gets the rewards and Bolt-Ons for their pledge, there are a couple of points we wanted to make:

  • In order to receive any Free Rewards, you need to back a specific pledge level. Any level of support (of any value) that isn't linked to a Pledge Level will not count towards any rewards, (including any freebies). You also won't be able to add any bolt ons. While we're thankful for all your support, we really want you to be rewarded! So please do choose a pledge level if you'd like freebies and the ability to add bolt-ons.
  • In the Pledge Manager (which will go out after the Kickstarter) you will not be able to change your pledge level, so please make sure you're happy with your level. however:
  • The Pledge Manager will allow backers - who have pledged against a Pledge Level on this Kickstarter - to select and/or add Bolt-Ons. More information will go out about this in the next few weeks.
We will be doing one last Q&A for any last minute questions, which can be asked on the comments section of this Update from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

[FONT=&quot]We’ve been working hard on the logistics behind Dropfleet commander since long before the campaign started, but with the final tally we have more exact numbers to work with. We’ll be slowing down a bit over the Christmas period as staff take holiday, so will be less active in terms of updates and answering messages, though Dave will be spending some time finalising the remaining designs.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]In the mean time we would like to lay out an approximate time line so that backers know where we’re planning to go from here and in the first quarter of the new year:

December: All Plastic ship classes finished, with plenty more images to come in January.

January: Pledge manager goes live, allowing backers to choose their bolt ons and add more if they would like. Unlike the Campaign itself, backers can add funds using PayPal or credit and Debit cards. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Early February: Pledge manager closes (we will announce the date in January). [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]End February: Beta Rules go out to Admirals. EU Admiral Backers day. Start of production.

Was aber viel wichtiger ist, das ich hier ein gutes Gefühl habe, das HWG ihren Termin auch einhalten. vielleicht ein/zwei Monate nach hinten, womit ich auch leben könnte aber der Termin scheint mir zeitnah.

Nicht so wie bei manch anderen KS. Warte noch heute nach 2 Jahren auf einige Sachen von All Quiet on Marsian Front....

Hmm, ich warte ja auch noch auf die Dropzone Tischplatten von Games & Gears. Allerdings dürften die wohl nie mehr kommen, so wie es aktuell aussieht - na ja, das erste mal im KS richtig Geld in den Sand gesetzt.
